Hey all, Was hoping someone could shed light on others interested and just for my general knowledge about toupees vs HT. Im currently getting a HT, but was thinking about backup plans in case of a failed one. My lifestyle is heavy into sports. I play beach volleyball amateur-professionally, and I hike a lot. The last thing I would want is for a toupee to fly out lol.. So whats the best hair system that is sweat proof, and how often does it have to be maintained for, etc.. Looking at the breakdown of costs. Curious if its same or cheaper than getting a HT w/fin + minox. Toupee sounds simple..

Noone puts on fibres when they play sports lol.. He for sure got a HT, unless its one of those high end toupees that stick through contact.

I mean just a quick google search, checking out posts on here, and asking your own doctor can help regarding the timeline of beard grafts on the scalp. Whether 8 months is a long time or not, is irrelevant. Wait until the procedure is done, then you can make a judgement. 8 months is closer to 6 months than a year dude.. and we aren't even talking about the timeline of beard transplants.. You're getting the poor guy worked up for no reason by spreading FUD. Happens in almost every thread. You have a few who jump the gun about overharvesting, blah blah, and 8 months later everything is fine. We all should know by now that results are final between 12-15 months. If its bad then by all means take out the pitch forks. This applies to any clinic btw.

Yup, I think you'll be fine. I've been reading a lot of overreaction from a few commenters on multiple HT threads, had to quote that guy lol Way too early to make a judgement. Happy growing!

What comment do you want from them over beard implants that takes longer to grow, and an additional 4 more months for the 'final result' to show in most non beard HTs? Patience. If it looks bad in density in 4 months, then maybe we can get a comment then.

Planning for kids, and Dr Bansal said its best to hold off on taking fin while trying to conceive.. lol So told the wife, we either have 2 kids or 2.5 years before i start fin. Whichever cmes first. I'll use Rogaine in the meantime though..

Me personally, I’m gonna not take fin right after my surgery on Nov. but I will take it right after we have 2 kids or 2.5 years. Whichever comes first. Planning on currently with wife. dr bansal said best not to take fin. So I’ll take her recommendation.

Hey all, So my procedure is on mid Nov. So just making a check list now for all the stuff I need going to India: 1. Air Suvidha form- printed. 2. Covid vaccine card- printed & have original on hand. 3. Evisa, duh. - printed. 4. eSim activation- printed. Anything else that I need? I have all the contact infos on my phone with hotel conf# and the people to contact.. I hope I dont have to print that out?
