  1. Taking mine next weekend, and kind of nervous about it as I have never done BW in my life. I am typically healthy, with no medical issues. My fam has a history of diabetes and both parents have a heart stent though! I read that 99& of the time, there's no issues. My uncle went to a clinic in turkey and they didnt even ask him to take any bloodwork prior.. they just did it when he was there.. Just not sure what to expect.. I have to do 9 blood test!! Haemogram Prothrombin Time INR LFT (Liver Function Test) KFT (Kidney Function Test) Random Blood Sugar HBA1c (Glycosylated Haemoglobin) HIV 1 and 2 (Anti Retrovirus Test) HBsAg (Hepatitis B Surface Antigen) Anti HCV (For Hepatitis C)
  2. No reason to judge anything before 7-8 months.. we literally go through that with every result. don’t over stress yourself man.
  3. Based on finances and my risk tolerance, I went with Dr. Bansal. I've seen her high NW cases and I'm very happy I went with her. The only blemishes I've seen in this forum were donor mismanagement for lower grafts and NW cases. I am a NW6, and every result, no matter who does it (Das, Sethi, or Bansal) have been really good.
  4. I would say im confidently happy with the package I chose. Looking forward to seeing your input in my own thread
  5. lol sure. No, mine is with Dr. Bansal next month
  6. Im a numbers guy. I don't overreact based off of not even a handful of negative procedures my dude. Also, it's not that serious. You don't have to like them. I was pointing out reason.
  7. lol I told my manager so she wont ask why i request to wfh during a few weeks of my ugly duck phase
  8. TBH, you just saw one case and imo overreacted over a botched temple hair alignment. The Eugenix criticism of '3-4 bad cases recently' is a little over used imo, especially when those results are spaced out and the influx of good results during and in between the time frame gets overlooked. Not every HT or surgeon has 100% of the results. Maybe the issue here was that many people thought Eugenix has 100% good results? I did read some of your reasoning, and while I see where your coming from especially with the upscale vs quality theory, i think at this time you were just looking for a reason to cancel Eugenix as you believed they were too good to be true, and hey at the end of the day you have to be comfortable with your choice. Good luck to you!
  9. I mean there are like 3 cases spread out within 2 years and lower than NW4.. so.. not sure what youre talking about with 'recent quality control.' Either way do what your comfortable with. Im NW6 as well, and im very confident in them and will go next month. If you're not, just go somewhere else dude.
  10. I mean if youre going to allow 3 situations to change your mind that easily, i dont know what to tell you.. They have fantastic results for high NWs and thats why im going there. To each their own, and as Melvin said, if youre not comfortable, go elsewhere. good luck.
  11. gotcha, thanks. Based on my research, I came to the same conclusion as you. Where conceiving is fine, but after pregnancy is confirmed, either wrap it up or finish outside. Just wanted to confirm and of course will confirm with dr as well.
  12. lol thats sucks man. im plannng on my HT next month in India with Eugenix, and the wife and I are plannng on kids too.. lol worst timing. She wants to plan for 2 or more within 2 years.. sigh.. so it looks like fin may have to be delayed for me.... Minox (Rogaine) will have to do. I'll try topical fin, but I have no idea which one to try lol
  13. Hey all, Never been on anything before. Post HT thinking of being on minox + Fin. However, is it safe to be on fin while trying to conceive? Wife looking at 2 kids in 2 years.. I was thinking of taking Rogaine in the meantime if fin is a no go. What are your thoughts?
  14. I love that you have a plan and everything in place. Me personally I have no clue if I would need another HT besides this 1st that Im doing lol
  15. Thank you so much for the reply! So excited to see you guys! If I have any further questions Ill definitely reach out, thank you for being there!!!
  16. I heard their selection has a lot to be desired. which is fine, I like preplanning things so as long as I can pre download things before my flight, im good. I do hope their outlets work though!!
  17. No, I have the PTO. The problem is my field/industry. So im a Sr. Financial Analyst. Even though Im an analyst, they have me doing some Accounting work as well. Every 1st 10 business days of every month is vital for me as we do 30 days worth of work during that time frame lol. So that leaves either Nov or Dec middle of 2nd week onwards (I chose Nov). Prices after 3rd week of November are crazy high. Same with Dec. January and Feb I am not available at all because of Year end and quarter close. Honestly, the only real time I have are the dates I chose, thanksgiving weekend, or Xmas time, and the latter 2 are crazy expensive tickets wise. So if I go not only would I be paying crazy expensive ticket prices, but that would throw me behind my work. Thats Finance for you. lol pays well, but not very flexible on time off. Definitely have to pre plan.
  18. If I did it here in the states, it would cost an easy 600-700. A lot cheaper in India. like a fraction of that.
  19. yup the procedure is in delhi. Oh I thought they would put me in Westin. Im sure doubletree will be dirt cheap. Good advice on the food, ill do that. I hope things go smoothely, I also plan on doing my bloodwork there too
  20. that's the reason why im flying business class back (although its with air India, so not expecting much lol). Recline able seats (can lay flat), 2-2-2 seat format, separate boarding line, and of course separate bathroom. thank god. With no WIFI in their planes, I'll probably be sleeping or download some movies/games on my laptop prior. EDIT: just read news vistara launched wifi and live tv. goddamn air india please do it as well. the same owners too smh
  21. Hey Dr Rahal, Is this the same thing for playing sports? 10 days, or is it longer? lets say vball or another contact sport?
  22. You understand that many guys get their beard lined up where it is linear right? Its not as obvious as you think. it looks fine to me. From someone who keeps a beard, I have to keep shaving and make it straight, I would love it if I dont have to worry about that anymore. Linear wise its fine, but it looked a little patchy under ur chin, unless thats how its always been then nvm. im not an expert or anything in this matter.
  23. gotcha, also for the procedure. they say 2 days they give for free. if im there for 4, do i have to get my own accommodations? Kinda confused about that. Like a new hotel?
