  1. I saw a shapiro’s paper where he correlated whey to gh increase. from what I understand, he supposes that gh increase cause hair loss. there are several researches showing that gh increases hair GROWTH (probably via igf1 increase). There is only ONE single paper where gh in vitro caused telogen in FEMALE scalp. but in vivo and in vitro can you totally different results.
  2. I have been in supplements industry for a long time. never heard something like that. but I am sure that a couple of psycho with an odc about their hair say that whey made them lose hair. i am sure someone will say that broccoli do and someone else will say that he lost hair because orange juice. psychiatry is a very interesting field of research.
  3. The only research on this topic say it increases dht. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19741313/#:~:text=The ratio of DHT%3AT,conversion of T to DHT. The paper you posted is a (very poor) meta-analysis. Learn the difference between an analysis and a meta-analysis before debating.
  4. I can swear you won’t shed but I can swear you will grow hair faster
  5. Creatine is a different topic. whey is not a magic powered. is a protein: it is broken down during digestion into amino acids and the goes into the blood stream. so, if it is true that whey increases hair loss (and I doubt) it would be interesting to understand what of the amino acids is responsible for that.
  6. I know that Shapiro say that whey is bad, but it is very debatable. all proteins (especially whey) increase IGF1. IGF 1 activates anlagen via a complex mechanism involving satellite cells activation. Whey have an added bonus: cistine, an amino acid involved in hair growth. Shapiro is a great surgeon. I doubt that biochemistry is his field of research.
  7. creatine increased DHT and DHT increases hair loss but all the YouTubers say that it doesn't affect hairloss. Why: because there is not a single study that investigate the relation between creatine and hair loss. It is like I say that radiation causes DNA and DNA modification cause cancer but there is not proof that radiant cause cancer.. the supplest industry is a multi bilione industry...
  8. After a stunning hair re-growth, I decided to take creatine. I lost a lot of hair. I stopped creatine and now the hair are back. Coincidence? Don't think so
  9. i had 2 HT. The second time, I started OM 3 days after the op. I didn't shed a single hair and the hair grow strong and thick
  10. In my humble opinion, putrella and nicer are in two different leagues.
  11. The give you dormicus. Google it. when you stay on the bed, you sleep. But it is very mild so when you are done, they wake u up and go!
  12. Sedation is very risky but hlc has an anesthesiologist, so don’t worry. except you are allergic to lidocaine, topical anesthesia is a walk in the park
  13. If you are 22, no way you should consider ht. i know what you feel (i wanted to have an ht but pekiner wrongly diagnosed me dupa, aborted my op and my 200 grafts went into the toilet) but be patient. Maybe you have some miniaturization, maybe not. But even if your hair are perfectly healthy, wait a decade.
  14. To discuss about this topic, you should study hl design in first place. if you want, I can suggest some readings so we can talk. if you get bored to read, search for some of my comments. df can’t design a legit frontotemporal angle. It is more than enough for me. his hl appear good when you see frontal pic (sometimes half of the face: only the foreahead and the hairline) but you can see all the flaws in side and 3/4 pics.
  15. I can’t find good works from him but just desperate people blaming themselves for choosing him.
  16. You have some miniaturization. Dutasteride (both oral and injected into the donor) can help a lot.
  17. In not any particular order, I like couto (who doesn’t!? lol) hasson and Wong and keser (anatomically, his hairline are perfect). Konior is great too, but I just saw a dozen of his works.
  18. I think that his hairlines are anatomically a disaster. I can show hundreds of his works and show all his flaws.
  19. Dutsteride, finasteride, minoxidil (oral and topical) just to name a few.
  20. it is very subjective. for example, many people think that de Freitas is very good for hairline but I really dislike his works.
  21. before and after pic look exactly the same. Did you really have an HT? Or you are testing how knowledge?
  22. take medication and book with a good surgeon with a great sense of aethtetic.
