  1. Been a while since I logged in and I see alot of negative comments about Dr Cinik. I can only post on my on experience and pictures speak louder than words. I can't say mine is perfect, but for my experience, and where i started, Dr Cinik, or his clinic "hair mill" as some call it, worked out well. Guys and for @Melvin- Moderator, who is very fair, hopefully this provides a balanced view. Last post. All the best guys. This website was invaluable for me!

  2. Thanks @JohnAC71 really appreciate the positive feedback.

Hi @LonelyGraftI have had donor area down to a number 1, but generally have  a number 2. I havent noticed any issues at all with my donor area. Extremely happy with my result given where I was, and I believe i have enough donor to get a top up, however this would not be my attention. I accept I will never have full head of thick hair, but my aim was to have strong hairline which I feel has been achieved and a strength of Dr Ciniks work.

From my experience I think Dr Cinik and his team have been excellent.

  3. So guys, today is the 11 month mark. I havent posted since 9 months because I wanted to leave it to see if there was much more difference. Not sure there has been much more growth over this period, or maybe its more difficult to notice at this stage. But if this the end of my growth then I am more than happy with the result. Obviously there are some areas thicker than others, but with realistic expectations I think dr Cinik (he done the incisions) and his team have done a great job.

Below I've listed my latest pics.

Below I've done a timeline collage throughout the process which really shows how far I've come in the process.

As I've said, I'm more than happy with the result and any further growth from now would be a bonus. Will keep updating every couple of months until around 18 months. Stay safe.

  4. Hi everyone. Just another quick update. I've now reached the 9 month mark (cant believe it's been that long). Don't think touch has changed since my last post. Hair growing, if I,m being over critical some areas appear thicker than others (I'd approx 2000 grafts in hairline area, 1000 in middle section and 1000 in crown) but probably as expected. We all strive for perfection but I compare were I was at 9 months to today then I'm absolutely delighted with the results. I've posted pics from today and July last year so you can see the difference. 20200619_113858.thumb.jpg.2f59d224691d7d2d0d20d384c59d6205.jpg20200619_113832.thumb.jpg.812527c37d34899a5e9602824e2e1932.jpg

  5. Hi all. Firstly I hope everyone is keeping safe and well in these crazy times. I reached the 7 month mark on 20th April and I am delighted with the progress. If I was told at the start if this process this is how my hair would look I would have been delighted. I think it us important to remember what your wishes were at the start in order to manage expectations. I wanted to regain my hairline and I am really happy with the results. Ideally I would like a bit more density and hopefully this will come over the next few months. One thing I would say is the transplanted hair grows upwards, which is fine for me as I wear a spiked style and dont need to use hair product, but might not suit everyone. The clinic sent me an email last week and are happy with the progress, but suggested I use finasteride to enhance growth, however I just going to continue using biotin. I've attached pics below.

  6. I'm good @Egy. Gonna post 7 months pics later. I'm pleased with my progress. Would live a bit more density, but got to manage expectations and if I was told my hair would look like it does 7 months ago, I would have been more than happy. One thing I would say is the transplanted hair sticks up, rather than fall forward. This is ok because i I style my hair up, but if I didn't then may cause issues. Stay safe.

  7. Hi Zenn,

Progress between weeks 16 and week 20 has been really pleasing. I was trying to hold off putting up any updates until my official 5 month mark which will be Thursday 20th February, but since you have asked I've provided some photos below from week 20. In one of the photos I have provided a comparison from week 16 to week 20 and you can really notice the difference that has taken place over the last 4 weeks. I'm now hoping for more density over the next few months, but I am delighted with the progress to date. Family, Friends, work colleagues cannot believe the progress. A couple of work colleagues who I had not seen for a couple of months, new something was different but couldn't work it out until I told them and they couldn't believe the difference (They think I look 10 years younger!!) Hope your progress is going well too.....be patient (no matter how hard it is - I don't think I've looked in the mirror as much these past 20 weeks) - have trust in the process and hopefully everything will happen as advised.

I have also attached a comparison from before the intervention and now.

  8. Hi everyone,

Today is the 16 week mark (112 days) and I'm really pleased with the progress I'm now starting to see. Definitely a lot more growth coming, and given I'm not yet at the 4 month mark, I'm hopeful over the next 4 weeks I'm going to see a lot more coming through, particular the hairline which I feel looks very natural.  I'm keeping my donor area shaved down to a number 1 every couple of weeks and trimming the implanted areas with scissors and I'm really comfortable and more confident being out and about without my "Peaky Blinder" flat cap. Still using the clinics shampoo, and taking biotin every couple of days. I'm not and never have taken any other medication. I update Dr Cinik's clinic through WhatsApp every 4 weeks, the only thing I would say is there's not much feedback from the clinic other than a reply that everything is looking good, which I will take as a positive. All in all really please with how things are progressing. Will update again in 4 weeks. Grateful for any feedback on the pics below. Cheers

  9. So I've reached week 12 (day 84). I wouldn't say time is flying but I do feel I'm not moving into the positive stage and seeing the transplanted hairs starting to sprout. I've got a few pimples and the transplant area can be itchy which I believe is a good thing. All in all I'm really happy thus far and hopefully by my next update in 4 weeks alot more hairs will have come through. Keeping donor area shaved down to a #1 so all at similar length and just looks like I've a buzz cut.

  10. @Dhiya I have to say the pain was a lot less that I presumed it would be. I would say 3/4 out of 10 and that was mainly from the pressure points where the injections were put in. This dissapated afer a few days. I flew home within 24 hours of my procedure and everything was fine, other than some swelling on day 2/3/4. Everyone's pain threshold is different but I was pleasantly surprised how little pain I felt after. Other people on plane had hair transplants from.other clinics and one in particular had blood running from the donor area which didnt look good. Everyone's experience is different but I was ok to fly home day after.

  11. Good luck @JSB77. You will be able to get out and about as there are alot of people around with the hair transplant hats on and the bandages are removed after the 1st day. I think you will struggle to stay in the hotel. Whilst rooms are very nice, limited English channels so you will be bored. You will be fine.

Are you paying for the exclusive package where Dr Cinik makes the incisions? I send progress pics at month 3. Definitely some growth starting to happen gradually. Keeping fingers crossed!

  12. Hi All,

So I've just reached the 8 week mark and have attached pictures from day 56. Nothing much to report as I'm basically in the "standstill" stage and waiting for the growth to commence hopefully in about 4 weeks. The itching in the donor area has subsided greatly since my last post and I've been keeping all hair apart from the implant area shaved to a number 2. Whilst no growth I'm been very happy with the healing process thus far and haven't experienced any shock loss. Will send another update at week 12 where I'll hopefully have a bit more to report on.
