What is the least hair density to cover the scars with a hair length of 1-2 cm? 40-50 hairs/cm2, 30-40 hairs/cm2 or 20-30 hairs/cm2?

I will undergo hair transplantation operation using the technique of FUE. Because I have the last pattern of baldness, NW7, only the frontline of my head, zone A, and zone B will be both transplanted with a density of 40-50 hairs/cm2 by grafts taken from the back of my head. I have been recommended not to perform both FUE and BHT at one operation. Therefore, the second operation applying BHT to cover my crown, zone D, with a hair taken from my chest will be performed one year later or may not be performed at all. My question if I shave my hair after the transplantation, will any scars appear? I used to follow a hairstyle shaving my hair at the sides and the back of my head to zero and growing my hair at the top. Because my hair at the top is very thin, it used to appear homogeneous with the shaved hairs at the sides. After I undergo the transplantation, I may sometimes continue to shave my hairs at the sides to zero and grow my hairs at the top to 1-2 cm. I may not be tied to prolong my hairs all the time. If I cut my hair to just 1-2cm long after the transplantation, will any scars appear as a result of the operation? If I shave my hairs at the sides and the back-bottom of my head (where the grafts are taken from) to zero, will any scars appear as a result of extraction of grafts?

Will I inevitably need a second surgery to address my crown? My question is if my appearance will look permanently natural after this surgery as my crown will be excluded. What's your opinion?

Dear Shera, Yes, you are right. I have received an offer from a clinic in Turkey that they will extract 2000 grafts from the back of my head and 1500 grafts from my chest and do the transplantation with a density of 40-50 hairs/cm2 in the front decreasing gradually backwards. How much does it look an efficient solution for me? Regards

I am looking to undergo hair transplantation. I have the last stage of baldness, the stage of NW7. Unfortunately, the donor area in the back of my head is weak so that extraction of grafts from my chest is a must. Therefore, I may not get full coverage for my head in the first session of transplantation. I will probably get a half coverage for the frontal half of my head similar to the pattern of baldness stage of NW3. I may undergo a second session to cover my crown of the head one year later or I may not take it at all. I want the result of my hair transplantation to look like a natural pattern of NW3 stage of baldness. I don't want the appearance of my hair after the surgery to seem transplanted and to be a mockery or a reason for criticism. I suggest that the hair is transplanted in the zones of the head in the attached figure in the following order so look like a natural pattern: Zone (A) Transplanted with a density of 40-50 hairs/cm2 Zone (B): Transplanted with a density of 30-40 hairs/cm2 Zone (C): Transplanted with a density of 20-30 hairs/cm2 Zone (D): Not Transplanted I appeal you please if you have any further suggestions or recommendations for my transplantation so that my hair will look natural and have a long-term acceptable appearance.

If I undergo the second session, the whorl of the crown of my head has to be designed by the surgeon. Where the crown usually contains a very large amount of hairs, more than 50% of the whole hairs in the head, it is a hard task to design and cover it properly with an available amount of grafts extracted from the chest, no more than 1500 grafts in my case. My question is about the role of hair transplant simulation software in designing the hair distribution in general and the crown whorl in special. How far does hair transplant simulator help the surgeon to transplant the frontal half of head to mimic the pattern of NW3 stage of baldness to look like a natural pattern so that further sessions may be performed? How far does that simulator help the surgeon to design the crown whorl later to look natural with the available grafts with a possibility to intensify its density later in a subsequent session? Should I agree with the surgeon to use a hair simulator to design the hair distribution of my hair and to design my crown later by using the 3D scan of my head based on the available amount of grafts? Or, otherwise, should I depend on the experience and skills of the surgeon to design my crown hair distribution manually without using a hair transplant simulator? How perfect is using a hair transplant simulator to design hair distribution based on 3D scanning and available grafts to mimic the natural appearance? As usual, the hair transplant simulator is a tool for the surgeon to design the hair distribution, to calculate the required amount of grafts and to conclude the hair appearance based on 3D scanning and available amount of grafts and, additionally, to show the patient the expected appearance of hairs after transplantation and to upload the robot, if used, with the target distribution of hairs to transplant it automatically. Anyway, do there exist add-ons for hair transplant simulators to auto-design the distribution based on 3D scanning and the available amount of grafts to mimic a natural appearance especially when the baldness area is large and the available amount of grafts is limited so that the team will perform the transplantation manually? If yes, what are the best hair transplant simulator/s that you advise to be used and what are these add-ons for this/these simulators?

I don't think the concealer is a solution. If I look like the pattern of stage 3 of baldness after the transplantation, I will look natural. The most important thing is that my hairline will realize its aim not to distract the eye looking at me to something abnormal in my head.

Surely because my forehead is wide so that it will look wider even with stage 3. The purpose of the hairline is motivating the eye to stare at the face rather than distracting above to the bald head. The most important aim for me is to realize this purpose with the designed hairline by the surgeon.

I want to undergo hair transplantation surgery. Unfortunately, the donor area in the back of my head is weak and the baldness area in my head is large where I have the baldness stage of NW7. Therefore, extraction of grafts from my chest is a must. Therefore, I have been informed by the most hair transplantation clinics and advisory websites that covering the whole of my head is not possible, especially in one session. In the first session, which may also be the only session for me, it will be only possible to cover my hairline and the frontal area of my head, so that the crown and the back of my head will continue to be empty. Some clinics have informed me that it may be possible to cover my crown in another session one year later by extracting grafts from my chest. Few Clinics are ready to cover all of my head by extracting grafts from the back of my head and my chest. I am really mystified whether to cover the frontal half of my head in the first surgery, which may be the only transplantation surgery for me or to cover the whole of my head in one surgery in a clinic ready to do so for me. If only the frontal half of my head will be covered on one session because it is reportedly and medically the typical solution for me, will it be acceptable for my appearance to be with a half-covered head and a bald spot in my head crown? Of course, it will be optimal for my personal photos and my video chatting to be with only a frontal coverage for my head. However, in real life and for youtubing, I am not sure if it will be optimal or not. How will my hair look like? How will I style my hair? Will I be obligated to a specified hairstyle? Will I have to lengthen my hair or shorten it? Will my head appearance (face and hair) be acceptable without any criticism or mockery? Will it be a distraction for the eye that looks at me to stare at my bald spot in the back of my head other than looking at my face and my frontal hair?

I tried to cure it with PRP injections but it didn't respond and just it became longer for a time then it had been shrunk again

I want to undergo hair transplantation surgery. I have a lot of the vellus hairs which is not apparent. After the transplantation surgery, will the vellus hairs be nurtured and become normal hairs? Thank you

But if you appreciate, from my beard photo which I attached to you, that I have 8000 grafts in my chin, it means that my beard has somehow low density as the density range of beard is 7000-15000 hairs. It's not a good choice for me to lose the half density of my beard. the beard hides the imperfections of the skin. Even if I shave it, it is better for the beard to be somehow thick to motivate the removal of the dead skin while shaving. I think that the appearance of the shaved face is more aesthetic and fresher when the beard is thicker.

I want to undergo hair transplantation. I have NW7 stage of baldness and unfortunately, the donor area in the back of my head is weak. Therefore, grafts have to be extracted from my body, especially from my beard and chest. The clinics in Turkey which I was in contact with have informed me that the maximum grafts to be extracted from the body are sequentially 1000 grafts from the chest and 500 grafts from the chin. However, I have been informed that the extraction of grafts from the chest causes health damage for the chest even if just 1000 grafts are extracted. In my case, I need that more than 1000 grafts to be extracted from the chest to get a satisfactory result of transplantation. What are the probable health damages of extraction of grafts from the chest? In addition, extraction of grafts from the beard causes scars in the chin. However, the beard will be thinner after the extraction. The beard always hides the skin imperfections and when shaved, the shaving removes the dead skin so the wrinkles are avoided. In fact, my beard is not very thick. Please inform me about the limits of the extraction of grafts from the beard and the chest. How many grafts should be extracted from the beard? How many grafts should be extracted from the chest? Is there any moral impediment to extract hairs from the chest?

But 4000 grafts look so much to be basically taken from the chin. The cheek and sidelocks don't produce many hairs. How many grafts which are taken from the chin only? Will it leave the chin after the extraction empty or with a thin beard?

Does the beard hair have a possibility to take the same nature of the head hair too? If so, how percent is its possibility? How many grafts can be extracted from the chin?
