Got a fade cut today and it's interesting to note how bad my extraction looks.

At the time I got the surgery I was under the impression that it was a shock loss and a lot of people affirmed but it seems like my donor wasn't operated on carefully.

Especially when you're just 1.4K grafts down. It shouldn't really look like this.

Hello @Captain Haddock, first thanks for sharing your experience. Second, sorry to see and here what has happened to you.

What I still can not understand, how booking the Exclusive Package, something like this can happen?!?!?

Your donor looks awful, overharvested for sure.

And, well, temples is maybe the hardest area when doing a Hair Transplant job. Doing the temples the right way is an art as many are saying and as we can see here, Eugenix does not master this at the moment.

What I'm worried about is, what is happening to those patients NOT selecting one of the TOP packages?

Have you talked to them to see if they could fix this as this is for sure a mistake from their part?

Wasn’t meant to update for a couple weeks but had my first trim since the transplant and I’m happy with how the scars look with a skin fade, was unsure how obvious they would be D19FCDB0-EA37-43EA-B1EC-DAAA6D03731E.thumb.jpeg.d054b91c911c9a4c375c408a3a065e2b.jpegA00B364C-96F0-430A-B59A-BC29C759811E.thumb.jpeg.1b3e2b06179ac7f8c961842cccb4883c.jpegD1C5747A-09B1-4284-8A09-E1DADF0FB88A.thumb.jpeg.927a67a4548aacd889ef970175473dac.jpeg

Donor looks impecable... Can not wait to see the 6-8 months updates! Thanks for sharing with us.

I lost the most recent before pics, these are a little older but nothing really changed, they still apply...not really sure why one of these photos flipped itself

I don't remember the exact breakdown, it was around 1700 total I think, 50/cm on the sides and I think maybe 20/cm in the middle...they explained it all right before loading me up with drugs, it's all a bit of a blur at this point

All looks good and you now have to be patient. But you seem to have an excellent hair quality and your donor looks amazing too... so please, keep those updates coming!

mpar, thanks a lot for sharing your story. Could you share the clinic photos right before and right after operation? 3500 is a lot of grafts and I do not know if I see the results in that frontal hairline... but I would like to see those photos... What are your impressions? Are you having a meeting with the clinic when you get to 12 months?

  5. Hello ahmed and thanks for sharing your story... your beard looks great and I would say they can take those 2000 grafts from it. Also, I'm sure they will manage to improve your donor extracting from it so that it becomes more homogeneous... You talking about the temples but I would make sure I cover the top before jumping into the temples. Let's see how your video consultation goes with Eugenix. Keep us posted!

    Dear Gents,

Apologies for the delay updating this thread! I moved over to live on a tropical island and there have been innumerous (good) distractions getting in my way since then.

What’s been going on hair-wise since my last update - I’ve just been looking at my last update at 4 months, big changes. Back then I swept the hair across, since then way more has grown and I have a “big shock” of hair at the front. My hairline is somewhat unusual in HT terms, I notice most people who get a HT seem to backcomb the hair backwards which is a cool look to be honest. However this would not suit my face as my hair has never done this, Dr Bisanga agreed with this - so in the end it’s a more natural (for me) to have it either swept slightly to one side or have it as a bit of a curly fringe.

At 5 to just before 6 months it hadn’t quite filled out enough for this so there was a bit of a gap in the fringe. From 6 to 7 (reporting 1 week before 7 months) now it’s filled out more.
My hair is a bit weird as although it doesn’t look like it at first glance it’s got quite strong kinks in, it's not straight at all so I guess might be harder to work with in terms of how it will look when transplanting it. So for styling, it’s not that easy at the moment - I haven’t quite figured out the style that works best. I think if it thickens a bit more over the next few months there will more option to have a curly fringe coming from both sides inside of a slight sweep to the right. As I said it’s kind of a big shock of hair at the moment which is a bit wild with curls and not something that fits into an easy to style “look". That’s the only negative I have, but as I said I think my hair is hard to work with and also it’s not the usual HT hairline - and look I’m not going to complain about anything, I just looked at how it was before and it’s so nice to hope on the motorbike here and pull off the crash helmet and walk straight in the bar without knowing my hairline is going to be looking terrible. So sending a big cheers to Dr Bisanga and the team for my result so far!

I’ve now got (the appearance?!) of more hair than I’ve ever had, as even at 16 years old the “fringe” was kind of thin. It’s really nice to not have the hair loss problem bothering me any more, dating has also miraculously become a bit easier haha. Oh and a funny thing happened the other day, I was having a drink with a group of guys I didn’t know well, everyone started talking about hair loss which 80% had - then someone turned to me and said “man at your age you’re so lucky to not have any hair loss at all” ! .. as I didn’t know them that well I just smiled to myself :)

    Hello all.

I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Dr Couto and I’m now one month post transplant. I know sometimes his Instagram results seem unbelievable however I am more than happy to share mine. I am currently one month in and the shedding phase has well and truly started.

I will continue to add to this post monthly. All photos are taken at weekly intervals. 2700 grafts for frontal/mid scalp. Returning next year for 1500 grafts to cover the crown. Any questions please just let me know.

    Skimzee,
Congratulations for jumping into the hair transplant experience.

One thing, your pre-op photos are really dark. Could it be possible if you could share other photos with better light. Even exterior photos would be great so that we can see how you were looking before the hair transplant?

Thanks for sharing with us!! Cant wait for updates and more photos!
