A great result! Out of curiosity could 2,200 grafts have been taken from just one strip alone? Or was there a reason why FUE was added in this case? Many thanks for sharing!

We could easily take 2200 grafts by strip, but when we take 2200 grafts by strip, then the natural distribution of single, double & triple hair grafts get the average ratio (20%, 70%, 10%) after harvest, i.e approximate 400 single grafts, 1540 double hair grafts & 220 triple hair grafts (total hair count would be 4180 i.e the ratio of 1.9 hair per graft)

But with Combination of FUT & FUE, we can achieve 2.07 hair per graft ratio.

    FUT 1500 Grafts

    Single Grafts 300 = 300 Hair

    Double Grafts 1050 = 2100 Hair

    Triple Grafts 150 = 450 Hair

    FUE 700 Grafts

    Single grafts 10 = 10 Hair

    Double Grafts 360 = 720 Hair

    Triple Grafts 330 = 990 Hair

Total hair count of FUT + FUE is 4570 (approx) i.e ratio of 2.07 hair per graft

So finally we can achieve 2.07 hair per graft ratio, obtaining higher density in the same number of grafts, obtain sufficient quantity of single hair grafts, preserve donor for future use, reduced the unity of scarring by FUT, reduce the damage rate by avoiding over extraction of FUE.
