  1. I went during a time when ASMED was scaling up and hiring a bunch of new techs I think. They did too many grafts on me for LOW yield meaning many grafts died because 5000 grafts should make a huge difference with high yield and the hair transplant they did barely made much difference in terms of how I looked before the transplant from then vs after. I’d just save your money and go somewhere with the highest probability of success and high yield
  2. Yea they say the hairs are in resting phase all the way through month 3. So you shouldn’t even expect to start seeing the beginnings of improvement above baseline until month 4
  3. Actual 1 month. Posting these for my own documentation here for future reference
  4. Didn’t mean to quote the above reply. This ai image trend sure gave me some nice hair
  5. Donor and recipient area are itchy. donor area has annoying pimples. both expected
  6. I’m gonna be getting in xyon which should help stop hair loss and thicken slightly in that area. In future later on years down the line when I see stable hairloss I can use more grafts for mid scalp and any problem areas
  7. Shock loss and shedding? although I don’t even notice the hairs falling off
  8. Transplanted about 9134 grafts dr wong didn’t give me an exact figure of what I have left but said to reserve them for the future if I develop any problem areas but not many
  9. I actually told them I wanted to make it more angular and the rep over email said wong said they could take those ones out and reuse them to make it angular. I had to remind wong about it though after he drew the hairline and then he was fine with it and told the techs to do it and I was asking about poor results because I was wondering the relative percentage of good vs bad results. It’s just data analysis to estimate probability of outcome. But I’m sure it’ll be very nice
  10. Has anyone ever posted a mediocre result from hw?
  11. He means by over transplanting with higher density into the region where I had a lot of scar tissue with less blood supply and harder tissue that it’ll cause the survival rate to decrease so he transplanted as much as he could without decreasing the graft survival rate
  12. Day 4 you can also see a few hairs he took out of the front corners and used them as grafts and moved them back into the hairline so my corners can be more angular rather than so curvy
  13. Yes I am getting xyon. he didn’t say as to why but he did mention that I now have scar tissue from previous surgeries just from the nature of being stabbed which decreases blood flow though and so he couldn’t go as dense in my hairline for risk of the decreased blood flow not being able to support such dense implantation and don’t want to “cook” it
  14. Yeah he focused on the most important areas. Hoping it grows in nicely
  15. Still managed to see the city and get some nice photos post transplant lol
