And you don’t find that after doing all the parts and rubbing the gel onto the scalp that it causes your hair to be kind of unruly after?

My question was phrased generally so the statement was that generally speaking dutasteride is more effective and said it’s perfectly fine for me to switch to xyon dutasteride instead of xyon finasteride

Do you apply it when your hair is still wet? I tend to wait for my hair to dry and because of all the parting and pushing the hair in different ways to get access to the scalp my hair usually looks kinda stupid after

When I research the comparison it seems most articles say dutasteride is better and blocks more dht by more mechanisms. Also when I asked Dr wong which is better and he said dutasteride is better

Considering I did have post finasteride syndrome and couldn’t get hard for my life for awhile after stopping oral finasteride it’s worth it for me to just use xyon dutasteride to protect myself even though it is a pain in the ass to apply and expensive

I pump it all onto the bathroom sink then part my hair systematically from front to back left to right and dab it right onto the scalp between the parted sections and am able to spread it primarily in small sections all throughout and wong said it diffuses under the skin so it probably gets all throughout my scalp

Yeah no more perms yeah I’ll be on xyon and minoxidil most days. And yeah November next year will be 2 years after the last surgery with wong I plan to go to wing again it’s not really a revision or repair just need more grafts to reinforce some thin spots along hairline, corners, behind hairline, crown, and potentially some thinning strips in mid scalp. He said we can do 1000 grafts but I’m gonna see if maybe we can do 1250-1500 cuz honestly when I look at my head in the mirror it looks like I could benefit from more transfer of density from throughout the back of my scalp to reinforce the thinnest spots all throughout my head but we will see what he says when he sees me in person next November

Also, based on reading the abstract it says evaporation of the water and alcohol is critical to the absorption of the minoxidil. I believe the drug designers want the water and alcohol to evaporate and leave behind minoxidil crystals on the scalp based on what I read in the abstract. The studies abstracts seem like they’re all the same study on quick glance

No my nose job was a full year after my ASMED hair transplant my results were already subpar with low yield

I really like the minoxidil dropper it allows me to get the end of the dropper right up against the scalp between hairs and I’m able to do it in a way that my hair stays mostly dry and then I comb it after and all the liquid is on the scalp and my hair is still dry and combed and styled as usual I do this in the morning and then apply xyon dutasteride at night

Wait why are you guys talking about taking viagra or cialis after a hair transplant in the beginning? Are you guys saying this because of increasing blood flow improve graft survival?

Wong suggested 500 more grafts for my hairline and 500 for my crown which I will probably do November 2024
