  1. Hey thanks for your reply. Is toppik better than Caboki? I've used it several times but I'm torn between ordering Caboki or it's alternative. Dermatch looks amazing (won't even come off when you swim) but application process seems extremely tedious. I'd like to purchase a fibre/concealer that will stay on while playing soccer (if anything of that exists).
  2. Is there anything as such? I've tried Caboki and I'm having a hard time considering an alternative. Please advise on a concealer that stays for the most number of hours.
  3. What you're describing isn't equivalent to him doing any extraction or implantation. He's the same as many other Turkish doctors. All they do is provide consultation (i.e. draw hairline and all) and the important work is all done by technicians. That means the chances of HT procedures turning into failures are high. I got a HT done in Istanbul, too. And I basically got what I paid for. You might be excited now but come back after a year with a decent amount of hair on your head and we'll talk.
  4. No, he doesn't. The type of clinic you described exist in many parts of Istanbul. Occasionally, a patient might find a decent technician who'll bring an awesome result but in most cases, it is a waste of time and money.
  5. Why is that? I'm kinda glad/relieved I've decided against FUT that I'd planned for May.
  6. Nichole007, if it's not a bother, can you provide contact addresses of 2-3 clients that have had SMP done 4-5 years ago? Like I aforementioned, I had an awful HT in istanbul and I don't even want to talk/think about it. In fact, I stopped visiting all forums because I was so pissed off. How could that not be the case with those that had SMP done? How long do temp ones last?
  7. This is ditto a turkish doctor I visited. Similar package. Similar technique. My results were really awful and I regret it. I hope yours turns out to be great. Also, his reviews were kinda similar too. Everyone seemed super ecstatic but when it came to the results(after a year), nobody seemed thrilled. I think he got banned from here.
  8. Ah. I was only concerned about donor area (since I'll be doing HT for crown).
  9. True. Well, I've got a feeling that I might end up getting completely bald which is why I've decided against a HT(FUT) for now as I don't wanna end up having a visible scar should I go completely bald down the road.
  10. How much was it? I was going to go with Dr. Bhatti but some people on here complained about lack of density and decided against it.
  11. Could be. But it's highly possible they are like me who underwent an awful HT and don't wish to talk about it at all.
  12. Same. Hence, I decided against SMP. There's not a single advocate. Like literally, null. SMP costs seem unexpectedly high for unknown reasons. It's a hair tattoo! And there are no guarantees that it'll hold up for years (I'm talking about permanent ones). In many cases, cost of SMP seems to be more expensive than getting FUE done in countries like India and Turkey.
  13. All he provided was a clip of him running comb through patient's hair. I mean, that guy could've never had HT done!
  14. Hello David, is Dr. Rao no longer recommended? I also have a question about Dr. Soni. He seems to claim (in his videos) that his patients will have no visible scar following FUT procedure as he uses tricophytic closure. Is there any truth in that?
  15. It never occurred to me that Sneijder had undergone HT. Why haven't you looked into Belgian or Turkish doctors? Some of them on here seem highly reputed and are highly recommended on here.
  16. Hi. I've got a couple questions. Do they shave head for FUT too? or only for FUE?
  17. I'm not trying to be harsh and while I do sincerely hope your results come out great, I'd quite like to see the results in 8-12 months time as opposed to getting all excited at this point of time. Like you, I underwent a similar HT procedure (similar price) with another doctor in Istanbul. He provided me with consultation and what not but he didn't do a single thing in terms of HT. The result is wayyyyyy below what I'd expected. I was all psyched after my procedure as well. In any case, I really hope you'll get awesome results.
  18. Hello, I was wondering if anybody could give me a decent tip in regards to scar following FUT procedure that uses tricophytic closure. At this point of time, that's the only reason why I've decided against confirming an appointment following numerous deliberations. Will I be able to sport a bald/shaven head down the line without visible scars if say, my HT failed or I continued losing hair?
  19. Here they are... Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet I can't afford elite ones. I've found a recommended surgeon and at this point of time, I'm concerned with FUT scars (and again, he says I won't have any scars due to tricophytic closure). That's my only concern.
  20. I'm not caucasian, but brown. So I'm not sure if that works. I'm leaning heavily towards getting FUT but at this point of time, I guess the biggest concern is regarding FUT scar. Like I said before, my doc claims I won't have any visible scars due to tricophytic closure.
  21. hi Dan123. Was it fue or fut? how much did he charge you?
