  1. Sorry to see such poor work, they really did some shady stuff here. Probably less then half the proposed graft count. Very poor planning and design. The row like implanting and very low density when they progressed behind the hairline. Everything about this smacks of sub par and shoddy work. They literally just wanted you're money. Most likely the hair angulation will be off too. Be interesting to see post op pics of you're donor area. You will have to wait at least 12 months for the results to know the full extent of just how poor the procedure was. The clinic will fob you off using all the possible excuses they can muster. It was such a large area to cover, even if it was the 5k it would have required another transplant. As it stands now they have most likely used up a fair amount of you're finite donor area unfortunately. Keep us all updated and start to seek out a better choice for you're inevitable second procedure.
  2. It's the only price he has right now, no on scheduled prices are available. I can't see that changing, for those guys already booked then yeah they would have had it cheaper.
  3. For me they are not the best quality pics, they don't appear to be particularly high definition and the lighting appears to be quite dark. Just giving constructive criticism here, don't want to offend.
  4. Exactly that, even if he would take it on it would become very expensive fast. I'm not so sure any Dr is going to have a particularly great outcome here, and the only ones that should even be considered are going to come with a pretty hefty price tag.
  5. Very few Dr's could achieve a reasonable result, the ones that are worth consulting with would be @DrMunibAhmad @Dr. Felipe Pittella And then Dr Zarev, however he's booked out for years already. Staying on Fin is absolute essential, giving it at least 12 months before considering going ahead with a procedure. Yes beard grafts are a invaluable source for high Norwood levals but it's important to have enough scalp hairs too.
  6. I don't think you're a candidate for a hair transplant. Advanced Norwood with what appears to be multiple issues with a very narrow band of what even could be remotely usable for you're particular "Safe" donor zone. Be wary of clinics that will just accept you and just tell you what you want to hear. @DrMunibAhmad
  7. As you rightly said it could have been a different story had you gone to a typical hair mill. Although those can be done in hospitals you would not have had the Dr's experience/experience to deal with it so swiftly. A allergic reaction is serious in this case, thankfully you had the best possible treatment/outcome.
  8. Looking good early doors, nothing to worry about 👌
  9. I agree with what's been written above, you really need to get consultations from the better options in the UK. HGC is unfortunately not a good Clinic, and no Clinic with Este in the name is any better. You seem to choosing the lowest cost places which isn't the way to go, aim higher as you don't want to make the situation worse or just waste money on PRP when it's not going to help. A second transplant is most likely the best way to treat this, but again this would need to be a much better choice of Dr/Clinic than you have previously chosen. Look around and see who's doing good work, especially with repair type cases. In the UK we do have Dr Reddy who is perhaps one of the most experienced you will find here.
  10. You wrote exactly like those in the pics, so these pics are actually you're head?
  11. Good things can come to those who wait.. By that I mean it might be worth biding you're time and get the best Dr for you're particular needs. Look at as many results for Beard transplants as you can find. They are not easy and are not particularly common yet. You will find them but they can end up looking "off" or a little too artificial. Dont get to caught up in the punch size, it's results that matter. Dr's have their own preference on punch sizes and it can vary per case/patient. They are also best placed on where to remove the most viable and DHT resistant grafts. Everyone's safe zone will vary.
  12. This just gets better and better, you're journey over the last few years has been amazing. You have come so far, the difference is remarkable.
  13. I would nominate @captaincalico his journey has been absolutely phenomenal. One of the best hair evolutions I have ever seen bar none.
  14. Would you have any immediate post op pics we could see? Thanks 🙏
  15. It actually doesn't look too bad, yes more grafts would have been beneficial, but see how it starts to grow out.
  16. Who was the clinic/Dr? Was it a chain type one like Bosley? Clinics using the Neograft method aren't the best tbh. As they didn't use a massive amount of grafts (looks like less than they said) then at least you will have more in the bank if a future ht is needed. Next time you will be much better informed. Do you have anymore pics you can share? Be interested to see how the donor area was looking post op. If you really wanted to check those numbers you could use a editing program like GIMP to count the graft sites.
  17. Longevita are middle men, definitely don't choose them or any hair mill. If you're looking on a budget and it keeps throwing up the same names then either save more money or keep looking, maybe a combination of both. If you're looking for lower cost Dr's then you could look towards Dr Turan/Dr Gur and Dr Demirsoy. A while ago I would have also added Dr Yaman, like everyone he does have occasional misses, just do you're own research and see for yourself. Personally I would be saving up more money to get to the next level of Dr's. With a not so good procedure behind you the next one needs to be good. Stick around here and research the hell out of as many Dr's as you can, look elsewhere too. Don't take any one persons advice, mine included, suggestions are one thing, you're own research/choice is another.
  18. OK look forward to seeing the day 2 pics if they get posted. Who was the clinic? Did it say?
  19. Very odd if this was at the end of day 1. What did day 2 look like. Trying to understand the time line and rational for this one.
  20. As we are already in December now and it's only 5 months away I don't think it's the best idea personally. Chances of being able to book a decent Dr/Clinic with such short notice is very slim. If you have already have work that you mentioned isn't the greatest, the last thing you want is to risk having a sub par Dr and/or result. You could look at using Fibres for the day, would give you a temp boost. Who did you're last HT?
  21. Personal choice of course but I wouldn't choose either. Like some others have mentioned I think their are better options elsewhere, in terms of quality work as well for the price.
