You should start with Finasteride and multivitamins & minerals tablets (containing Biotin). To reduce redness post op - Aloe vera water is great. Plus there is a video from Spex on post op healing. You should be able to get your hands on it. I can't recall where I saw it. But it was very informative & helpful. Did you get another date finalized ?

Propecia (finasteride) and minoxidil are the 2 approved meds for hair restoration and stimulating growth. So if u use them for long term u will see results and will be able to preserve what u have or at the least be able to delay the pace of balding. You stop them and you will soon reach the balding stage u would have, had u not started these meds. Even after a transplant you will be advised to take these.

For the hairline 1500 to 2000 max. That would give a very noticeably fuller hairline and frontal look. I would say 1800 would be sufficient, and the remaining areas above the ear should be 200 on each side, but it could invoke shockloss on the hair that is already there.

Yeah...he is probably over the top of the world with his new hairline and doesn't feel the need to come back to this forum anymore. But it would really be nice if he or his clinic post d the final outcome as this was one of the rare big FUE sessions that we usually come across and hence it would really help the community, and if it's a great result then huge positive publicity for the clinic too.

Now this one really scares me. Fingers Crossed!

With regards to the Chinese herbs question...They look promising and would definitely want to try these. However, I think it would be best to start a new thread in the appropriate category as this may not get the necessary attention here & would get buried under other comments. On the result - Just wondering...Does it have something to do with Transection rate for FUE that the FUT surgeons keep highlighting all the time ? You had both the procedures, so if we exclude the two small patches, how would you compare the density you got between the two procedures (FUT V FUE) in the areas where you had good growth?

Couldn't agree less!! Also can you comb ur hair backwards and share pics of your sides? You might be needing temple triangle creation as well but can't make that out with current pics. But looking at ones posted 2500_3000 for frontal framing and another 1500 for the rest in second procedure. The count for second procedure will depend greatly on quality of donor. As you are just 28 your hairloss would take a while before it stabilizes ...like in your 35-40 yrs period

I think I have seen a topical finasteride bottle being sold at one of the local pharmacy....can't recall the brand. Will get the name and composition tomorrow.

I think it's the native hair that has grown more. Have followed this story on you tube. The transplanted hair...some have sprouted and some yet to sprout. I think it picks up from the third month onwards and now every month would be more visible growth. Certainly good quality videos...are these made at the clinic? Look professional work!

Can u upload a frontal hairline pic? From the two pics u uploaded...you seem to be a good candidate for ht. The crown thinning can be controlled with minox, nizoral, saw palmetto n biotin.And based on your frontal receding ... You could go for 1500 to 2500 grafts. I think u can go for it!
