  1. Hmm Chris. Is there any truth to this???
  2. Nice results. Great hairline. What does it mean when you say FUE growing for 12 months and falling off? Who did your surgery?
  3. How will weight lifting affect FUE patients. Unlike FUT where you have to worry of scar dehiscence. What is the concern for FUE after all wounds have healed. any inputs appreciated.
  4. Manual punches as far as I know. Does not use implanter.
  5. This is the best before pic I have. I have not addressed the crown area yet.
  6. Wow!! Wish you a speedy recovery. Can you show a picture of this rash.
  7. He told me that he uses 1 mm size generally for Asians and less than 1 mm (dont know the specifics) for Caucasians.
  8. Almost scab free. Swelling resolved. Recipient numb. Donor sensitive. In anticipation of shedding phase next ......
  9. Everything looks as expected from my humble experience. Doubts, second thoughts, shock loss all are part of the challenges we must overcome. It is a leap of faith in the end!! Any slight concern of infection should be addressed with Dr. Diep. Best.
  10. Hi baseballfan2011, Swelling should settle down by day 3-5. It descends from your scalp into the forehead, then eyelids and face. The prednisone in the post op medication kit will help reduce the inflammatory component of the swelling. You could direct the swelling away from your eyelids (which could shut your eyes), by massaging your forehead bilaterally, gently, in direction towards your ear. Best wishes.
  11. The paresthesias (Neuralgia) will slowly fade away. It did last me several days to a month or so. Lyrica (I think you tried this already), Neurontin, Pamelor, Cymbalta, lidocaine jelly etc. may be considered based on your consult with Dr. D. I just chose to ignore it. Thanks for update. Look forward to your progress. Cheers.
  12. Said around 3000 odd left without looking depleted. Estimated 1000-1500 needed for the crown.
  13. Thank you n00b. Now in the swelling phase ... back home ...
  14. Proceeded with HT 2 this week with Dr. Diep. Added 2400 odd grafts with A cell. He was pleased with the HT1 as it got me the hairline. Now session 2 was to address density in front and vertex. Everything went fine as planned. He noted that finasteride and Minoxidil was helping my crown. He had given around 200 grafts free. Post procedure bedside manners were even better. He gave me a ride back to the hotel and got me dinner on the way. We spoke of general medical stuff as we were both MDs. Overall a pleasant experience. He shared his personal contact no if any post op concerns should arise. This is not an exception but a norm. We parted discussing meeting for a HT 3 for the crown. Now the wait begins.....
  15. Awesome!! Do you think it has the density now to grow it shoulder length. Really looks great. What product have you applied. How does it look in sunlight. Your documentation and photos are really thorough. Thank you.
  16. Looking great!! Keeping track of your progress. Hair God's appears to be in favor of Dr. Diep these days!!
  17. I did Aloe Vera and Bacitracin. The sensation will surely returning back to normal will take a couple of weeks. Nerve healing is a slow process.
  18. Ha! Ha! Ya you are right. I have a new found confidence and have not felt this good in a long time. Happy growing and cheers to great new physique.
