You don't need bloodwork to start Finasteride nor Dutasteride. 99% of patients never do a hormonal panel before starting and if you get high estrogen symptoms you will know It's not like you can do anything to increase your DHT nor Progesterone (which is massive on the NFL signaling) If you want to know how Finasteride affected your hormones then just get Test, SHBG, Albumin, LF, FSH, Estradiol and DHT. That will give you enough information. Your DHT will go down, your E2 will go up, your LH will go down and your Total T will go down a little. Best way to manage this is staying below 12% bodyfat and micro dosing Finasteride. Yet to meet someone with side effects that's in top shape. I will say, be sensible on your dosing. 1mg daily or EOD is overkill. 0.25mg 3 times a week is enough for most. Topically 0.025% or 0.01% if using 2ml daily or EOD is enough for most.

Chances of permanent sides are very small but real. It has been scientifically proven. I was left with some long lasting sides but recovered from most if not all. If you are scared of using Finasteride then Topical Finasteride is much safer, start at a very low dose or consider other natural alternatives. The majority of people do not experience permanent side and if dose sensibly most don't experience sides at all. Taking a mg daily orally is absolute overkill.

How old are you? Can you post a picture of your hair/scalp? What is your body fat %? Your markers are OK but are unfortunately useless as you took them in the afternoon. FSH is quite low. You might have a low sperm count. Given that your estrogen is not elevated and that your LH is normal with a normal SHBG I would presume you are over 45 years old, your testis are being stimulated enough to create testosterone however you are on the low end. You need to re-test your Free Testosterone in the morning. Same for Estradiol, Total T, LH, FSH. Your levels will most likely be higher and even normal tested am.

Very wise of you. Given the long half life of Dutasteride and it's metabolites it can linger for 4 months after stopping. I used Parati's bottle for many months and had no sides when spaced out once a week. Had great results with it.

I did 555 grafts from the armpit to the donor area. As long as they are extracted safely I don't see why not. The only thing is that they tend to be thinner than beard grafts

It was done on purpose, it's called homogenous depletion and was done over the course of several surgeries through out the years. Nobody overharvested a particular area, the lower portion of my donor has finer hair and single grafts so it's a bit more noticeable

3 month update 1) No growth yet or very little. I normally see it at 3 1/2 months so next month should show a difference. 2) Folliculitis has been a small nightmare to deal with. Comes and goes. Starting antibiotics today for a week.

By Dutasteride do you mean topical Dutasteride or mesotherapy? I assume the second as you mention a dermapen? I don’t think it looks thinner, your hair is just shorter. Let it grow 2/3 months and it will look better Mine looks horrible after 12.000 grafts at that length
