Wish you a speedy recovery Gil, at this point, it's not even a question. We are getting hit hard. The lockdown has been extended another month. I just don't see how a lot of businesses are going to survive another month without revenue, while still paying for rent, insurance and their employees salaries. I wonder if the treatment is worse than the disease. On one hand you're saving lives, especially those vulnerable in society. On the other hand, a lot of young people will bare the burden and suffer, it's a difficult situation.
I personally think it’s a total overreaction, the lives we save now we’ll probably lose more due to the issues with poverty this will cause. I know they keep saying it’s not like flu, but in the U.K. we lose 500,000 people a year to flu that never get mentioned, whereas now we are at less than 500 and every one is reported nightly in the news. Surely it’d be better to have the risk groups stay at home and get the money (even full pay since there’s far less of them) and let everyone else get on with work and get the virus and get the herd immunity They talk about. The stats for people under 60 are minuscule when it comes to mortality

No, you're right. The top middle portion has taken a hit and it helped quite a bit.
Oh, yeah that makes sense. Anyway I think you’re in a good position for a touch up and it should make the world of difference. We’re u on meds before you started dut? Did fin stop working for you?

Your hairline looks to have thinned out a bit since your last procedure from the pics compared to the old thread, is this the case or is it just the difference in lighting? Assumed you wouldn’t have had loss to the hairline though if it’s all transplanted hairs

Never really been won over by that particular clinics work to be honest. Recently saw a guy on Youtube who went there and had two procedures (2nd one to fix issue from the first) and he had less than complimentary things to say about his whole experience.
I have literally never seen one knockout result from them. Hairlines are all shaped like a flip flop, density is terrible. Not sure why people continue to rate them. Even the clinic posted results look like they need repair surgeries. And they continue to get celeb clients and charge money out the ass😂

Dr Reddy and Dr Ball
Yeah that’s about right. Had a feeling you might have said a certain Manchester based “celebrity” surgeon😂

Sorry to hear about your experiences/results from your previous procedures. Turkey can obviously be a complete roll of the dice apart from a handful of clinics out of the hundreds that are over there. Unfortunately, apart from say 2-3 clinics, it's generally not much better in the UK imo. Assumption can be things will be better as it is the UK and you'd think standard/quality is higher but but seriously, the UK is lagging behind apart from 2-3 clinics.
Personally, there's only 2 UK clinics that I'd consider. Otherwise, better off jumping on the Eurostar and heading to Belgium or catching a flight to Spain for the options there if you'd prefer not venturing too far out.
Which two would you consider?

Don't know how you can put Lorenzo and Wong amongst the worlds best
Dr Lorenzo doesn't know how to draw a natural hairline and uses way too many grafts.
Dr Wong angulation of grafts is just wrong in most of his ht
Please elaborate hairgod😂 tell us how one of the inventors of the lateral slit, a technique used by the worlds best surgeons doesn’t know how to angle a graft😂

Yes, my biggest concern are my temples which the lastest surgery did nothing. Even the hairline i have not much hope looking at the after op pic density.
My plan will be to punch these grafts out at temple and reimplant them correctly if they are any good and use as little as possible from my donor area.
Why not get an opinion from a world renowned clinic like H&W, Lorenzo, Konior etc.

If I am getting FUT, is Rahal still considered better than H&W? I made a deposit 3 years ago but wanted to see if it is worth letting go of the deposit and going with H&W.
He never was, he just had better PR around 2015...

They are only slowly phasing it out. They said they would honour my previous quote. Would appreciate advice
They’re not in the same league imo

Wtf is this shit?😂

That hairline looks way too flat and broad to cover with that many grafts and have look dense. Also I second the post above, a bad hair transplant from a hair mill will look much worse than balding

Any update on the HT? I have a consultation with them next month.
Still heart set on a UK procedure? You have got other consults lined up or are you pretty much settled on your surgeon?

@Portugal25 yeah that looks really nice for a wet hair outdoor pic, shame you haven’t got the other pics. Picture hosting websites are a nightmare when they start changing their terms

@Aftermath in 2008 Hair Restoration Network was pretty much all about Rahal, Hasson&Wong, Shapiro and Feller. The Spanish FUE scene was starting with Lorenzo but it was impossible to find any patients posting on the forums and FUT was still the best option for assuring great results.
Rahal patients were posting amazing harlines at HRN and he took into account that I was a 25 year old master student so he offered me a great discount which made my choice super easy.
I agree, I had mine around the same time with hasson. Tbh though I wouldn’t change mine, I needed FUT and I’m glad I had it. I did have a look at your thread and the only pic I’m able to see is the one from last year, years after the HT, I was just wondering how your 1 year post ops looked, have you got any pics?

@karatekid if you have already had FUE then they probably already removed grafts from the area where the FUT strip would be removed. You will not be a candidate for FUT.
I can tell you that Rahal is considered the King of hairlines but I would only advise him for FUT because he has been getting some not so great results with FUE. Other top Doctors for FUT are H&W and Konior.
In your case I would advise Dr. Keser to restore your hairline because he needs much less grafts than other Doctors to achieve amazing hairlines,. Go check @Kaya results thread here at HRN.
How did you find rahal? Did you get the results you wanted? To me his clinic was all propped up on PR and “rahal results”, I’ve seen some good results but in general I’ve found him hit and miss when it comes to real patient reports

Well all clinics cherry pick their results. You wont find a clinic not doing that. Take the results as they come. We cant change how clinics present them.
Exactly! And this is Melvins whole point, and why actual cases presented by patients and not the actual clinic is of much more importance than the cherry picked ones the clinic wants you to see, that’s the only try test of consistency

OK. So you go a get the BEST result from Hasson. Dr Hasson himself talks about this result as:
"a result that would be considered a “home run”".
Hasson also says about this case that: "could arguably be the best single session hair transplant ever."
And you are comparing the BEST result from Dr Hasson with these cases in which Dr Couto with considerably fewer grafts gets equal or even better results : )
For example on this one case, Dr Couto uses HALF the grafts than Hasson. Yeah yeah, no KIDDING ... half the grafts 4200 vs 8400 ?!?!?! And this is just one of the many reasons there is no one like Dr Couto:
And then what to say about this other case/comparison.
Dr Couto operates on an IRRADIATED SCALP with just 5800 FUE Grafts ... while Dr Hasson get 8400 with the FUT Technique ...
Dr Hasson was the king a decade ago, amazing FUT surgeon and he is still great, I do respect him because in 2010 when I started my research on Hair Transplants Hasson was the man, but ... with Dr Couto and the FUE technique we are talking about something else nowadays ...
Well, I dont think there´s much more to say... RESULTS speak for themselvesNo I don’t go and pick the best result, I pick the ONLY result I know to be on a man of Spanish origin from dr hasson because that was the whole point of my post... talking about how Spanish people have very favourable donor hair characteristics. I think the guys below cover the points so I’m not going to waste my time going into detail

It’s just more convenient.
Surely there’s a few good doctors in the uk how could all of them be so bad.
There aren’t world class doctors in the field in the uk. I’m from the UK and made the mistake you’re about to make on my first op so I travelled to Vancouver after that, doesn’t get much further away but I’d 100% do it again. There are surgeons closer though that are considered world class, one of which is Lorenzo in Madrid

At the moment, my typical day consists of
cleaning the house when I get up then quick clean of the car, then to the gym for 10 2 minute rounds on the bag followed by abs and battle ropes.
after that I have breakfast out on the decking and listen to some music
in the evening I then do weights (split my days into 5 body parts)
then I’ll chill and watch a movie... gotta be Honest I’m not hating it😂
