  1. I would say no because you don’t really have hair loss. Second, alopecia areata is an autoimmune condition that resolves is on its own without surgery.
  2. That’s awful, I remember there was a kid in my high school who started going bald. He shaved his head and then coincidentally became a skin head nazi. But really everyone knew he was balding. Heart breaking, the good news now is that we can stop and reverse much of that, with surgery, medication and concealers.
  3. Why no medication? At your age you definitely need to consider medication.
  4. Fascinating, it’s why he’s so passionate. I can see he truly does care and is in it for the right reasons. I could speak with him for hours.
  5. Hahaha believe me the desire is definitely there. Next year perhaps 🤔 😁
  6. If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say. I was born with a high receded hairline. I’d be a rich man lol
  7. Not until I was 24, I remember telling my mom when I was 22 that I was balding and she said I was imagining things. She also brought up that my grandpa her dad, my dad, my brother and all of my uncles have hair. All of which is true, but still does not matter. MPB gene can skip generations.
  8. Great write up, the work looks excellent and Dr. Wong is a true pioneer. It takes a few months for your hair to get to baseline. As for the pain, it depends on the individual, for some it’s a day or two, but others may need to take ibuprofen for a few weeks. Sleeping normal takes at least 10 days. You don’t want to crush the grafts, or the discomfort in the donor may prevent you from sleeping normally. Small price to pay for having hair. For me swelling peaked the second and third day. You have more triples and quads than you do singles. Hell yea that’s high density. You’ve got approximately 10,500 hairs transplanted. The difference is going to be HUGE!
  9. That’s annoying, it’s not like you’re gonna go without being cautious. I didn’t require a PCR test.
  10. As you should man, exciting times, please don’t forget about us when you’re rocking more waves than the ocean.
  11. Check this video out, I give some good examples from this forum
  12. Can you provide proof that you’re no longer contagious? I got covid in late October, my doctor wrote me a note after 14 days saying I was no longer contagious. I traveled to cabo in December with no issues.
  13. Absolutely, the hairs you’re seeing now will double in diameter by 12-18 months. Your hair will look waay thicker. This is the tip of the iceberg my friend, but damn you’re lucky. The average guys don’t see that much growth in 5 months.
  14. It was fantastic, Dr. Reddy is such a kind genuine person. I can tell he really devotes himself to the craft. For those interested, here’s the interview https://www.instagram.com/tv/CL-KSHTn_Nr/?igshid=dcxp6qnwm3yc
  15. That’s a great point, here’s a picture of me at 20. I thought I didn’t have any hair loss, but you can see how thin it already was there, please don’t mind the Jersey shore hairstyle 😂 How many guys are living in denial that they’re balding?
  16. We’ve been conditioned by society to think hair loss is an older mans problem. But the truth of the matter is that nearly a quarter of men in their 20s suffer from hair loss. I’d like to start a poll here to gather some intel. How many of you had hair loss in your late teens early 20’s. How did you feel, what did you do? Have you had surgery?
  17. Definitely give both a try
  18. Yea I don’t see why you’d be told to stop taking finasteride
  19. I don’t think you’re too late for fin and min. It would definitely help thicken your hair. Now, it won’t return everything, but it’ll be an improvement. Another thing to consider is hair fibers. They work great, specifically on diffuse hair loss.
  20. Definitely the waiting game, watch this video
