  1. Definitely check out @Parsa Mohebi, MD in woodland hills. He does excellent work.
  2. It makes your hair feel thicker. It’s an awesome product, been using it every day. Apply it after a shower, then blow dry and style. It gives hair a lot of volume.
  3. Yea sleep with a cap on, no need to tie your hands together.
  4. It’s not good, but there are some positives. You didn’t use a lot of donor, and at least there’s no significant scarring in the frontal hairline. This is a relatively easy fix.
  5. Happy new year, here’s to more hair 🍻
  6. You are always the voice of reason, we’re lucky to have you as a member. There’s a big problem with privacy as well that no one is taking into account. Many surgeons struggle to get there patients to allow them to use their results for their own site because they don’t want their images on the internet. It’s even harder to get them to create an account and share their reviews. Even after all of that, I’ve had multiple members ask me to remove all of their threads, reviews, responses, and even mentions on this forum due to privacy. That’s why I created this thread: I’m all for making a better process, but just because a doctor doesn’t have patients review them often doesn’t mean they’re bad or not doing good consistent work. If they’re doing bad work, believe me it will be revealed. As unhappy patients are more likely to post a negative review than a happy patient is to post a positive one. First of all, the reddit mod had no bearing on the community’s decision. We were already investigating Dr. Diep on the Wednesday prior to the mod creating that thread, the only thing he did was make it public. Typically, we do not like to post things publicly like that because it sets a bad precedent. I believe it was appropriate in that instance given the circumstances. But the process was already set in motion prior to that threads creation. In fact, you were the only one complaining at the time. It seems to me you’re just here to argue for the sake of argument. Many members have already caught on.
  7. Wow this is incredible, Dr. Feriduni hit this one out of the park and its only 6 months. Very excited to follow your progress.
  8. You can also do this if you’re a 1099 contractor. It’s reasonable if you’re in the public eye, or you deal directly face to face with clients.
  9. This isn’t true. In fact, many members are searching for exact grafts to compare their own results and numbers. The search function provides a broad function for a variety of searches. Having a massive number of folders with surgeons names is a lot more convoluted. Frankly, it’s not an improvement. This is why Google is the most popular site, you can search whatever you want.
  10. The best way is to search a direct number. You can search 2,500-3,000 but it will only show up if someone titled their thread that way. Better to use direct numbers.
  11. “How would I search for all the patient journeys with a graft count between 2500 - 3000? (or any other range your're interested in?“ @NikosHair Here’s a quick guide. Remember You can adjust it as you go along and change it to whatever graft count you want.
  12. Unless you’re an influencer of some sort. I don’t see how you can claim a hair transplant. Maybe if you’re in the public eye, and your job requires you to keep up appearances. I know Trump claimed hair products in his taxes.
  13. Topics give you threads/reviews, so anyone who’s had 2,500-3000 grafts would pop up. Further questions can be asked on that topic, so we don’t de-rail this thread.
  14. It’s impossible in modern hair restoration. You cannot expect someone from the US whose having a hair transplant in lets say Europe or Asia to fly over just for an examination. Some doctors have started placing a mandatory face to face consultation for repairs like Dr. Bisanga. It’s not feasible or realistic for ALL procedures. It only works if you go to a surgeon local to you, but most patients travel for their procedures.
  15. Dear Community, It’s come to my attention that many of you do not know how to use the search function properly. It’s very comprehensive, you can search by author, tags and date. Let’s say you want to look for “Norwood 6 results from Dr. Bisanga.” You would put these terms in the search function (note, specific terms will pull up fewer results.) Then you would click “content titles only” and “all of my search terms” The more specific the search term the harder it will be to get results, so I suggest making it broad. For example 2,500 grafts. You can even search in specific sub-forums like below, this will allow to pull up all reviews from patients who had 2,500 grafts. I suggest playing around with the settings. You can be as detailed as you want or as broad as you want. Feel free to post hacks as you go along.
  16. Actually ,our advanced search page is comprehensive. You can search by grafts, name, and tags. You can even search for recent to all the way back to 2001.
  17. Those are just two examples I quickly provided, he has far more results than that, and a long track record of over 20 years.
  18. No, in my opinion, it’s a waste of product. I recommend using the product in the areas that are actively thinning. If your hairline was transplanted. I would use it there too. But not in the midscalp.
  19. Transplanted hair is DHT resistant not DHT proof. DHT does affect transplanted hair, but to a lesser degree.
