  1. This was a fair approach to allow the community to decide, without my input, which is already perceived as biased. I laid out all of the threads which included many fantastic results. No matter what we do, we will always be criticized, damned if we do, damned if we don’t. At the very least, everyone here see’s that were truly transparent and open. At the end of the day, we are patient advocates.
  2. This thread was created at the end of the day on Friday. I am not going to contact the physician over the weekend. I will contact him today, as I have already stated.
  3. I have not contacted the physician yet. I will give him the chance to respond publicly, but in my opinion, it will do little to change minds that are already made up. Again, it was never my intention to hurt anyone’s reputation. That was never the purpose of this thread. In this particular case, given he has so many successful procedures and happy patients on the forum. I thought the fair and balanced approach would be to allow the community to decide.
  4. I think this is being sensational. Ibuprofen kills thousands each year, and not from a small chance of cancer. https://kindredmedia.org/2013/06/ibuprofen-kills-thousands-each-year-so-what-is-the-alternative/
  5. @Oxiborick Do not get any repairs preemptively. Give it at least 10 months before getting a repair. You really don’t know how it’s going to look, only time will tell.
  6. I’m gonna be honest, these results are okay, by no means fantastic or cuotesque. You already had A LOT of miniaturized hair pre-op. This is the only before picture that matches length and hair style. For having that many grafts in this area, I’m not impressed. You started medication a few months before this procedure, it’s clear you’ve had regrowth in the crown by the picture below. This means a lot of the density you’re seeing is due to your native hair thickening and some regrowth from medication, which makes these results less impressive. That means it took 4k grafts for this area. Which again, had A LOT of hair to begin with. You’re happy so thats all that matters.
  7. This guy is a troll, sukh123. I was already speaking to Pat before that thread was created. I wanted to speak to the last patient in detail before making our decision. That was on Wednesday, the Reddit mod created the thread on Friday.
  8. Sukh123 14th account, what would make you think you’d be welcomed to our community. Also, the hairline after is terrible quality and dim dark lighting not a good comparison.
  9. Messi has won the world cup. I have always been a Ronaldo fan. But I think it's time to put the debate to bed. I think Messi just got a checkmate. I'm saddened that these two amazing players are reaching the end of their careers. I guess it's a reflection that I'm getting older myself since I'm the same age. Time for the new generation to shine like Mpabbe what an amazing player.
  10. The pictures are blurry. I think this result is what you can expect in one surgery, if everything works well.
  11. Wow looks the hairline you were born with, amazing so happy for you.
  12. I have never heard of this doctor, doesn’t mean he’s bad. I can say Dr. Nader has produced great results here.
  13. That’s a great problem to have. I’m reminded of the story @gillenator told about having a date spend the night, only to see a shocked look on her face in the morning. Turns out his toupee was stuck between the wall and the bed. Those days are behind you.
  14. To be fair, Diep was not producing the one-off oddball home runs years ago. He churned out cases like these consistently, which is why he was recommended in the first place. That said, no one can rest on their laurels. Consistency must continue. I will give it until tomorrow before moving forward with the communities decision.
  15. What are your expectations? I think you have to be very realistic before you undergo surgery. Honestly, you need at least 3 surgeries to cover the scalp with adequate density. It’s a serious journey. Really ask yourself is it worth it to you? If you just want some improvement, then one surgery may be enough. But in all likelihood even one won’t be enough.
  16. @wylie I don’t know where you got the idea that we don’t like to shine the light on these cases, it’s the exact opposite. In fact, I reached out to both @Sanjar41 and @Oxiborick via pm to help them both, and even wanted to make a YouTube video about Sanjars experience with an interview. We don’t sell hair transplants here, we educate. The whole reason this community was created was to call things like this out. Sharing genuine experiences good and bad is what makes this community like no other.
  17. I think this is going overboard. People aren’t machines, they shouldn’t be expected to behave as such. As long as they aren’t behaving inappropriately, I don’t see an issue with having conversations.
  18. The hair transplant industry at large remains unregulated, there are societies like ABHRS which provide the closest thing we have to board-certification. That said, this community is really the only place where you can examine the quality of a physicians work. Knowing how to perform a hair transplant and being knowledgable doesn't mean you achieve good results. Always keep that in mind.
  19. Guys, @DrTBarghouthi messaged me some time ago that he had a family emergency. I don't believe he will be updating this thread anytime soon. I have sent him a message a week ago, but lets keep him in our prayer and show him some appreciation and support in these difficult times.
  20. You will get a myriad of opinions, but the best thing to do is research yourself. Look up reviews, consult with surgeons, and if possible meet up with past patients. Good luck let me know if you need help researching.
  21. Yes, I considered the fact this could lead to lynch mob scenarios. But I trust our community and senior members know how to discern the difference between a subpar result and a dip in consistency and ethical issues. We always allow surgeons some time to rectify the situation and prove their consistency before removing them. I want to make it clear that we are not in the business of appeasing lynch mobs. I have given this a lot of thought before Wallaby created that thread. This thread was not created to serve as a salem witch hunt. So those interested, put away your pitchforks, it’s not gonna happen.
