  1. Hi All,

I had a FUE procedure around 15 months ago over 2 days. The growth as come in well in the frontal hairline bit. However i still have a large thin area behind that on my vertex in the transplanted area.

My question is can i expect more growth / thickening in this area at this stage? Or should i be going for a touch up now? My clinic has offered to touch it up free of charge so no worries there.

Just want to know if i should wait to maybe 18 months or so to give it more of a chance to improve. Thanks

  2. Im amazed the Dr would consider another procedure 6 months after the Op. You should wait 12-15 months. As a previous poster said the grafts could easily still be in a state of rest due to trauma and could sprout right up until 12 months.

I think you need to wait it out. Although it dosent get stated too often i have seen a lot of cases where mid scalp (much like crowns) lag behind hairlines. Vascularity and larger hair groupings could be the reason amongst others.

  3. I havent seen evidence of Mata but would be interested to see pics? Cassilas has been thinning a while and prob uses concealers.

Roberto MArtinez uses concealers and a comb forward technique. He has balded extremley badly. He had solid thick hair as a player in his 20's and early 30's. See attached.

  4. This dosent look good im afraid for this amount of time. I would expect to see a lot more growth particulary as its virgin scalp. It shows there is no guarentees with Strip / FUE whatever the method.

Has your surgeon said they will stand by you by offering a refund or additional procedure? If that dosent dramatically improve i would push for a big refund and go elsewhere to try get sorted out.

    Good luck with it.
