  1. Hi Micky85, I know that you are a senior and well respected member of this forum. With all due respect to you, I am asking you to provide some data, statistics, examples to back up your comment "I would stay away from Indian FUE suregeons like Bhatti as he has not provided consistent quality FUE results". You have made this comment several times in the past too. I had asked you to back up your claim in the past too but you chose to ignore. Please do understand that comments like this are just not fair until you have solid proof to substantiate it. If you don't, you will end up sounding like another user on this forum who ends up most of his posts by "Dr. Bhatti's harilines are not good". But every time he is asked to back up his claim.....NOTHING..... Don't mean to offend you but requesting all forum members to please act responsibly. Don't mind honest and constructve criticism but let's please make sure that we have the data to back it up BEFORE we make such comments. Thank you, California
  2. Looking very good. I am very happy for you. The best thing is that it will keep getting better and better. Nice hairline! Thanks for providing regular updates. California
  3. Hi Varun49, Sethicles has had his HT done by Dr. Bhatti. Fueonly has NOT. Your call. Choose the feedback that makes more logical sense to you. Best of luck. California.
  4. Hi Augustya, If I were you, I would look up all the patients of Dr. Bhatti that are to be found on the online forums and study the HT results. Emailing the patients with questions is also not a bad idea. That is exactly what I did before I made the decision to trust Dr. Bhatti with my HT. I had had a bad experience with HT in California (many years ago) and hence I was even more skeptical. I strongly believe that Dr. Bhatti is an excellent HT Surgeon and that his hairline design is great. Again, please note that the only individual that has been consistently picking on Dr. Bhatti's hairlines is NOT among Dr. Bhatti's patients, has NOT met Dr. Bhatti and has NOT spoken to Dr. Bhatti. I would give more weight to the feedback of actual Dr. Bhatti patients..... Joseph Goebbels had said "If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth" Thank you and good luck. California
  5. Sharing my personal experience with Dr. Bhatti. I found him to be very accomodating and reasonable. Before I went for my HT proecedure with Dr. Bhatti (July 2013), I reached out to 8 of his past patients via email and phone. I discussed Dr. Bhatti's hairline design too. I got all positive feedback and that motivated me to take the flight from San Francisco to New Delhi and onwards to Chandigarh. As far as Dr. Bhatti's response is concerned, I tend to agree with his logic. When we go to see any doctor, we let the expert (doctor) do the diagnosis and then the prescription. We do not 'suggest' the treatment to the doctor. I do understand that for an HT procedure, there is more patient involvement but my belief is that when you do your full research and due diligence in choosing your HT surgeon, then you need to trust that Surgeon and take his advise after a straight forward and honest discussion about what your expectations are from the HT.
  6. Hi Augustya, I think you might not be reading this correctly. For the record, I had also forwarded some threads from this forum (criticizing Dr. Bhatti's hairline design) to Dr. Bhatti. Interesting part is that all the criticism came from one person only, who has never been a patient of Dr. Bhatti and has not even met with Dr. Bhatti. Dr. Bhatti gave me more information about that one person (he also lodged a formal complaint with the forum moderator,Bill). I believe that Dr. Bhatti might have shared similar informtion with Jayukdht and that is why he is keeping it confidential. There is nothing to hide here. If you were in our place, you would probably do the same. We brought something to Dr. Bhatti's attention and he gave us his feedback about one specific person.......wouldn't look nice to post that feedback on an online forum. I hope you understand. If you still have questions/concerns, please feel free to PM me and we can discuss in detail. Thanks, California
  7. Hi Jayukdht, I am really glad that you emailed Dr. Bhatti directly to get your questions/concerns addressed. Folks that have dealt with Dr. Bhatti would know that he is an extremely humble and down to earth person. He is very prompt in responding to emails (personally). I don't think that there is anything wrong for a potential HT patient to contact the HT Surgeon directly with questions. Bashing someone is easy.....but common courtesy demands that the "bashing claims" to be backed up with solid data, statistics and examples. There are numerous Dr. Bhatti patients on this and other online forums and I have yet to see any patient of them post anything negative about him. That in itself should speak volumes about this doctor. If the patients and happy with the HT procedure and results, it doesn't sound fair for a non-patient to constantly criticize the Surgeon based upon some unsubstantiated hypothesis. Just my two cents. Thanks, California
  8. Hi Eternaldenied. Just wanted to let you know that I ran this thread by Dr. Bhatti to get his take on your progress. He said that it is way too early for the expected results to show up. He is suggesting to give it more time. I do realize that the 'waiting' part is the hardest but it is what it is. As you know, Dr. Bhatti is very prompt in responding to emails. If you have any questions/concerns, I suggest you email him directly. Please let me know if you have any questions that I can assist with. I wish you all the best. Thanks, California
  9. Hi Mickey85, I realize that you are a senior member of this forum and that you are quite knowledgeable in HT precedures and technology. I have also browsed through some of your great contributions on this forum. Have a lot of respect for your expertise and the passion to share your knowledge with others. However, with all due respect, I wanted to ask you to define "consistency" for me since you have mentioned that Dr. Bhatti has not proven his consistency. I have not been associated with this forum for that long but I have yet to find (on this forum or any other forum) a patient of Dr. Bhatti that is/was not happy with the results. Dr. Bhatti performed 416 FUE surgeries in 2012. I am not trying to promote him here but am definitely trying to make sure that he gets fair credit. My intention is not to offend you or anyone else. I am just trying to make a point. Thank you, California
  10. Thank you for understanding. It is highly appreciated.
  11. Hi Fueonly, My humble request to you and the other users of this wonderful forum. While referring to doctors/surgeons, can we please show the basic respect and courtesy and prefix the name with Dr. and also try to spell the names correctly. I believe that they have "earned" that. Do not mean to offend anyone. Thanks, California
  12. Hi Jad1987. Received your PM and responded to it. Thank you, California
  13. Hi Shane13, Glad to know that you were able to take care of this. I wish you all the best and hope that this HT procedure meets, rather.... exceeds your expectations. Keep us posted. Thanks, California
  14. Hi Jad1987, I don't know if the moderators of this forum would have an issue with you posting your email address for me to communicate with you. I do know that they discourage promotional links and stuff like that but posting your email adddress should not fall into that category (I think). Also, you can email the moderator/s and request access for PM. Thanks, California
  15. Hi Jad1987. Just wanted to clarify on your query about the charges listed on Dr. Bhatti's website for different HT packages. Dr. Bhatti used to list the charges in Indian Rupees. But recently, like other emerging market currencies, the Indian Rupee has taken a big hit. The "standard" exchange rate used to be 1USD=50 Indian Rupees. Recently the exchange range got to 1USD=70 Indian Rupees. With the devaulation in the currency, inflation hit big time....(for example, domestic airlines in India jacked up their prices by 25%). With the Federal Reserve in the US threatning to taper the QE3, the Indian Rupee has gone on a roller coaster ride. I have discussed this with Dr. Bhatti and he agreed to offer the premium package at a lower price. Please PM me and I will be glad to share the details with you. Thank you and best of luck. California
  16. Hi Fueonly. I am not sure why the HT Surgeons would not be willing to share the post BHT pics. I wanted to share with you my own post BHT pics from the "shady area" of the chin. I had my FUE HT procedure done by Dr. Bhatti on July 10, 2013. 325 beard grafts were extracted. The donor area healed up pretty well within a couple of weeks after the extraction. I have not shaved for the last 15 hours. Since I have recently signed up with Dr. Bhatti to be his representative and patient advisor for North America, I want to make it clear that I am posting just to share my own personal/patient experince and NOT as a promotion for Dr. Bhatti. I have been told by the moderators of this forum that unfortunately, my affiliation with Dr. Bhatti now limits my participation and involvement on forum topics. That is why I have been staying away from discussions on this forum. I hope that by posting my personal experiences on this forum, I am not violating any of the forum protocols. Thanks and good luck. California
  17. Hi Montyraja, Dr. Bhatti's clinic charges Rs.70 per scalp graft and Rs. 150 per BHT (beard and/or body hair). Estimated $1.16 USD and $2.50 USD, respectively....(depending upon the currency exchange rates) Thanks,
  18. "I would not go to India for an FUE" .....seems to be a strong, generalized statement that would need some data to back it up......Should the HT surgeon's skill, qualifications, past results and patient feedback be used as a benchmark or than the HT surgeon's country?
  19. Dr. Bhatti....Chandigarh, India.....great results....unbeatable price.....Rs 70 per scalp graft and Rs. 150 per BHT graft....which translates to $1.17 and $2.50 respectively (1USD=Rs 60...as per current exchange rates) Best of luck.
  20. Congratulations. Looks good so far. FYI....Dr. Bhatti has a detailed write up in regards to pre op and post op care and expectations. He emailed me the PDF file. It was informative.
  21. I suggest you check out the HT progress reports of MJ0101, GaelicDawn, Midnightio75,Johnny24 and David923. That is what I had done before I went for my HT with Dr. Bhatti. I also communicated with all these forum members via PM and they were gracious enough to share their HT experiences with Dr. Bhatti with me. Thanks
  22. As far as I know, Dr. Bhatti does not currently have a representative in North America. That being said, please feel free to PM me. I can give you information about the travel, lodging etc. Wish you all the best. Thanks.
  23. You are welcome. 3 days in Chandigarh sounds good. As far as the post op appearance is concerned, the HT procedure is pretty obvious. Most people wear a hat for some time until the crusts fall off. This can take upto several weeks. In my case, I work from home and hence don't have to deal with the "people noticing me" issue. When I socialize, I wear a hat (today, at a dinner party, I had some folks ask me why I was wearing a hat. I told them that I had shaved my head). I went for the premium package. With the dollar doing well against the Indian Rupee, it is even cheaper. Rs 70 per graft is like $1.17 per graft, for the premium package. From what I understand Dr. Bhatti performs two procedures a day. He is pretty busy with 90% of his patients coming from abroad. Thanks
  24. Below is the thread with some of my details. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171398-2373-fue-grafts-dr-bhatti-chandigarh-new-post.html The clinic did make the hotel reservations for me. I stayed at Hotel Oyster. Pretty decent hotel. Clean, good size room, LCD, free wifi, good food. The doctors office does give you several medications to take a few times a day. Those should be easy to manage on the flight. They call you for a dressing on the donor area the day after the surgery. In my case, the bandages came off on the third day. So there is a good chance that you might have to get on the flight with the bandages on the donor area. Not trying to scare you but just laying out some facts for you so that you are better prepared. At Chandigarh airport, the security guys asked me to remove my hat. Had to do the same at other airports in between also. And yes, Dr. Bhatti did shave my head. I hope this helps. Good luck.
  25. From my experience, there is no post op bleeding but Dr. Bhatti does prescribe saline spray on the planted areas every 20 minutes for a few days post op. Flying to US the day after the surgery might be a little tight but I do know a few folks that flew back to US from India the day after the surgery. I made it a point to stay in Chandigarh for a few days post op so as to follow the post op instructions and also to avoid wearing a hat (which you might end up doing in the plane). I am less than 2 weeks post op and my experience with Dr. Bhatti and his clinic has been positive so far. Obviously, don't have the results to show yet. Good luck.
