Hi Param. Any updates on how your hair is doing?

Hi guys, I am thinking of having a HT sometime soon looking to go with Dr Demirsoy due to his price per grafts only because I know I'll need more than 1 HT so I got to keep it financially low as to have savings for future HT. I have searched youtube and only found two videos of his work. I have also searched the forums and can only see few results posted by patients. Half of in which the patient goes missing after the 6 to 8 month mark on their post and not quite posting the 12 month mark results. Shame really some really good results were showing but I'm sure everyone wants to see how it looks 12 months down the line when more or less all the hair should have matured. Another thing is why does the doctor not post more of his results on forums or videos? I mean won't it be good marketing for him especially since there are very good HT docs in his country. Anyways I want hear what you guys think? I just want to know whether I should go to him or not? I would have chosen Dr Bhatti due to his similar price but he is telling me to wait a year to see where my hair loss proceeds. I'm 29 this Jan and having beeen suffering for 10 years, only use minoxidil twice daily for 8 years. Used propecia but it gave me bad sides and gyno so stopped after a few months. Is there no other doctors who offer BHT that have consistent amazing results as Dr Sanusi Umar? I mean the guy has top results and the hair lines he does are great too. Probably one of the best docs at making realistic looking hairlines. I'm sure there must be other docs doing work at the same degree as Dr Umar but it's hard to come across their work or results as they never post videos or posts, unlike Dr Umar who has loads of videos on Youtube to show you his mind blowing results. I wish other docs would do the same with BHT. I'd definitely go to Dr Umar if his prices wasn't out of my reach.

I think he may well be on meds but no mention of that in the video. Also his hair characteristics plays a huge role but even still it's mind blowing the results hard to believe really.

Was searching through youtube for norwood 6 fue transplant and come across this doc with his videos and results. I don't know whether to believe it or not. This is one of his clips but this docs is transforming norwood 6's into norwood 1's using I believe FUE only. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6nTVIN1XyA Doctor is called Diep. Anyone heard of him?

Cheers for the info, I guess it is a bargain compared to what docs in US are charging. I'm happy that the prices are coming down, as when I started researching hair loss solutions FUE was way above my price domain. Hopefully FUE will be made even better once Dr Wesley's Pilofocus comes into action.

Also how much was the total cost of you HT including flights and accommodation etc?

Hi dingdong12, great post mate, really helpful and informative. Posts like yours makes it so much more easier to choose a doc. I'm on two minds with either Dr hakan or Demirsoy due to there results and price. Can I ask does the doc do most of the work? And how many technicians does he have working with him. I find more technicians the speedier the surgery. I believe he offers manual extraction is this true? If so how come you did not choose this? Sorry for all the questions, could have PM you but if someone else is also after same answers might be better to have it open. Thanks
