  1. Yes Robert, I live really close to there. I am going to Winterplace next weekend as a matter of fact. There's not alot to do around here but I like it pretty good.
  2. Lol...I know I know. How bout this weekend I post some? My camera sucks and the batteries won't stay charged so I'll buy new batteries hopefully tomorrow. How bout we all post some pics this weekend? Me, you(Robert), and you Hairbethere?! What do ya say guys? Oh yeah, I live in WV, not NC.
  3. Uh huh....sure ya will! Lol...now you know how I felt! I look forward to seeing your pics and what your hairline looks like. How many stuck around? Is the scar healing nicely? Have you got a post op haircut and if so, what did u tell your hairdresser? GOOD LUCK!!
  4. Lol...I guess we know what that bird thinks of a Sunfire.
  5. You are absolutely right, Robert. And while we are all guilty of wanting to better our appearance, there are far far more things people should be researching other than a cure for baldness. I mean, don't get me wrong...I would jump for joy if someone would find a cure, but what about cancer? What about blindness? What about being deaf? You are right, Robert and I think we should all take a good look at our health and realize appearance isn't always everything. There is one exception to the shortness topic, however. Verne Troyer. Have you guys watched any of the new Surreal Life with Mini Me on there? I feel so bad for the guy. It makes you appreciate being "normal".
  6. Telephone Man, You're HT looks to be a success! Your doctor really spaced the grafts perfectly to give you a denser look. Congratulations!
  7. HBT, Favre really had a bad bad game. I just hope he decides to come back for a year or two. If he does, Green Bay is playing Carolina in Charlotte next year and I am DEFINITELY going!
  8. HBT, Sounds like a wonderful experience. I can't wait to see your progression. We have 2 things in common based on this post, 1. I chose Dumb and Dumber as a movie choice (imagine that, huh?) 2. I hate the Minnesota Vikings (Stupid pricks put the Packers out of the Playoffs!) But I'm glad you posted a detailed post about your experience. Very helpful for everyone on this site.
  9. Hahahaha, Hairbethere...you never cease to amaze me. The next pics I post I'll try to stand up in them.
  10. Check it out guys. I found an article on a future cure for shortness. Crazy, huh?! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,144419,00.html
  11. Nashville Kat, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you are very excited. You have a right to be as well. Your hair babies will be conceived in a few days and you can sit back, wait for them to grow and mature, and walk with pride when they do. LoL I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience with Dr. Cooley and his staff and hopefully see your pics. My ol' buddy Hairbethere talked me into posting some newer pics so I'll get on that pretty soon. Maybe you can drive around and enjoy the great city of Charlotte (my personal favorite) the night before surgery. Good luck!!! We're thinkin of ya!
  12. Nashville Kat, First off, Congratulations on deciding to get a hair transplant with one of the greatest...Dr. Cooley. Nashville Kat, Trust me when I say this...you have absolutely nothing to be nervous about. The most painful part of the whole experience is when they take your blood as soon as you get there. That stung! Dr. Cooley took every precaution in the world to make sure I felt little or no pain, and I felt NO pain. I left the office feeling perfectly fine, although I was a little dizzy when I stood up at first. And he does give you some valiums to take home in case you need them, but I never took one. I may have took a tylenol or two, I don't remember. Now, I'm a little over 5 months post op and I'm seeing little hair babies popping up all over my hairline. It's wonderful! Dr. Cooley, Ailene, and his staff are the greatest. Good luck and let us know how everything goes.
  13. Well Well Well...it looks like the girl that has everything or at least gets anything she wants is dealing with a problem many of us have been dealing with for a while. In the words of Paris Hilton, "That's Hot!" Lol
  14. Sometimes I find it hard to part with my baseball cap because I still have the feeling people are "looking" or "talking". Anyone else feel that way?
  15. Hey guys, Check out this article I found on gray hair. http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/12/23/going.gray.ap/index.html
  16. Hey guys, Check out this article I found on gray hair. http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/12/23/going.gray.ap/index.html
  17. He's the one I went to for frontal hairline work. Keep doing your research. And good luck.
  18. Mr. Invisible, I am confident you can't go wrong with Dr. Cooley. You should book a consultation with him. Hey...IT'S FREE! I will be posting my updated pics tonight or in the morning. Check them out along with my previous pics under all the Brando sections. Roberts(Social's) experience is REALLY good to look at along with Briank and Hair Apparent. There are others as well.
  19. Emerald, This is the best site if you are wanting to go to a top hair transplant surgeon. You can learn anything you need to know about hair transplants and anything you want to know about the doctors who perform the transplants. Don't be afraid to ask around on here if there's a specific doctor you're eying!
  20. LT, Welcome to the boards. You're doing the right thing by asking questions and I can help you with a few. I have never used the Lasercomb but I've heard good things about it. Baseball caps do NOT cause thinning hair or balding. And YES...you should get back on Propecia. It'll start working the day you use it, but you won't notice for about 6 months or longer. Good luck!
  21. HBT, I always try to adopt a tree angel or make a shoe box full of little goodies for the troops every Christmas. If I have can afford to get a HT, then I can afford to help out the needy at Christmas time. I'm with ya, HBT!!!!!!!!! Happy Holidays everyone!
  22. Bill, Looks great so far, buddy! I am almost 4 months post op and I have some growth. Not anything dramatic yet, which I can't wait for the big sprout to happen, but you've still got some waiting to do before you see a big change. You seemed to have healed nicely. Good luck!
  23. Hey guys, Sorry I haven't posted pics lately. My 4 month mark is coming up Dec 5 and I plan on posting pics very soon...just as soon as I can get someone to take the pics for me. I have seen a good amount of growth. My temples look great. The hairline is sprouting new hairs every day. It's getting very very exciting. Again, I will have some pics soon. Oh yeah...How bout them PACKERS!!??!
