  1. yeah my donor hair is very thick. Before mpb I had the most ridiculously thick hair. I was known as the kid with the insane thick blonde hair pretty much my whole life, so hopefully that aids in my results. It is also slightly wavy. lookin forward to the new pics!
  2. "Space -- thx, just keep in mind.....I have favorable hair caliber and I am adept at how to make my hair look its best. It's quite easy to look "its best", and it almost always looks at the very least solid, so short of getting true-density (as opposed to perceived-density) from cloning or w/e I have no major qualms. " Could you expand a little on this part? What about your hair makes it have favorable caliber? I know what you mean about making your hair look its best, as when my hair was in earlier stages of thinning I could make it look way better than it was. Even in your 7 months pics where you have no product it looks awesome.
  3. Thana-- I just want to let you know that I'm so extremely jealous of your results, simply amazing. I hope to achieve such a fantastic outcome. I'm sorry if you have touched on this before, but as far as work goes, what was your situation? Could you get away with it, or could you wear a hat? Thanks man
  4. Yeah man, I would wait. Your hair looks solid the way it is right now. Like Thana said, I'd try growing it out and if it;s too thin, try some toppik/nanogen. Don't rush into it since your loss is still minimal
  5. From my research, it depends on the person/ amount of loss, amount of donor. There really is no solid answer. Although, I have found it rare that people have more than 2 megasessions. I think 2 would be the average, then other smaller procedures? Again, I can't speak from experience.
  6. I haven't had a hair transplant yet, but I'm thinking maybe that unit at the gym where you put your back up against it and it has the two handles. For that you just kick your legs up (I alternate between keeping the knees bent and kicking the legs out). This doesn't really put strain on the head/neck and really slams on your abs. Any comments/concerns on that one?
  7. any updates on this guy? Just looking through results for other blondes
  8. I can guarantee you that I will be on here sometime in 2009. Just wait and see haha
  9. You're very lucky as I'm very nervous about that. When I have my procedure I will probably have to return 9/10 days post op and this seriously scares the rice right out of me. I work with a lot of people, all ages, all kinds of people, all with different levels of pointing things out. YIKES
  10. That doesn't sound too bad. I guess as long as cardio isn't put off too long I should be fine. I will miss the weights but I can forget about them for awhile to get some hair
  11. No problem Bill Another thing I noticed, and I could be wrong about this one, but on spex's weblog when you click on "buzzcut", that last group of photos with the dark hair is definitely not him, is it?
  12. Hey Spex- I was just wondering why the same picture shows up on your weblog profile that shows up on omviki's profile. Is that just an error with the weblogs? I just got really confused when I clicked on omviki's weblog

  14. MikeTheDane - yeah im a younger guy. 23, probably 24 by the time I have procedure though. I haven't planned one completely yet because it sees everyday that I am ready to go I read something that discourages me. I just need to bite the bullet and get this done.
  15. Canadian-- I'm also in a business where we win awards and am also thinking Rahal for an Ht. When will you return to work and what's your plan of action? Also, Does Rahal always require to shave?
  16. Mike. I plan on getting similar work done that you have. I will be following your results closely and look forward to an update. One question though. After your first HT you have that shot of the back of your head. It looks buzzed down pretty short. Theres no sign of a scar at all! thats pretty awesome looking
  17. I will definitely be using toppik. My main concern is returning to work (week one or two depending on how much time off) and being able to clearly see the donor scar and staples/sutures. That scares me so much. Wantego- ive probably seen every weblog on the site and then some haha. I just ask because everyone is different. Some people dont even look like they had an HT at week 2 and some look really bad still (scabs, clear scar, thinning all over)... so I'm just nervous.
  18. very good point, Bill. I'm so thankful for the vets like yourself who stick around!
  19. Hey guys, There are quite a few people on here who I see have been around and are a few years post op with their transplants But I would like to see more guys who have had transplants done and how they are maintaining past one year. We don't read enough stories about how life-changing it is. I know if I have successful transplants you guys will definitely be hearing about how my life has changed. I'd like to see some positive stories because a lot of people who get transplants are depressed about hair loss in the first place. and I know it must be hard for some guys to keep coming to forums seeing as their main concern is to NOT be so concerned with their hair.
