  1. Mate. Trust me. The best is ahead. As said, Even at 6 months I was still unsure. Give yourself another 6 months time and I'm sure you'll be as happy as larry. As for the females, I have a long term girlfriend but if things carry on as they have been she's getting dumped. Hahaha. Maybe my girlfriend can blame Doc Feller for the demise of our relationship. Actually though, my friends have been commenting on how much female attention I have been getting when we go out lately. I don't not actually think this is due to a change in appearance though, but actually a change in confidence. Good luck and enjoy the next 6 months Bro. @Chris. Your hair is looking AMAZING too. Thank you for the good words mate.
  2. Also in this post I will post a couple shots where the hair is styled with wax and a little bit of Toppik. I still use a bit of toppik just while I am styling my hair but that is just down to my greed. Hah. It is a very small amount and would not be totally necessary. I just like how my hair looks with it.
  3. Hi Guys. I just made a new thread in another forum so I will copy and paste in here. Consider this a 9.5 month update Hello Guys. I had 2400 grafts from Doctor Feller just under 10 months ago and I feel like it has turned out to be the best decision I have ever made in my life. I am now at the point where I do not worry about my hair anymore and I can now style it how I want to in various ways. I have actually had a few compliments from strangers on how nice my hair is. haha. Anyway, I want to run through a few things for guys who have had HT's or are thinking about them before I post pictures. 1st. It really is the little things that matter. I used to style my hair in a way to hide the bald spots and cover it in hairspray to hold it in the right place. Now I obviously do not need to do this anymore so I no longer shy away from the wind or drizzling rain. If I am out and a friend or a girl ruffles my hair it does not bother me at all and this is really great feeling. In the past I would have immediately ran to the toilet to fix it and check the weak spots were not visible. Not to mention people would wonder why I had rock hard hair (Due to so much hairspray). 2nd. Patientce, Patience, Patience, Patience. Seriously though. Even at months 6, 7 and even 8 I was still worried things weren't happening as I wanted. I am over 9 1/2 months now and it is only the last few weeks that I have really felt comfortable with my hair. There was a point at about 6.5 to 7 months where I wasn't totally happy and I was sure that I had all of the growth I was going to get. I would look at other pics on the net of people I thought had had more growth and what not. Honestly, since then to now I have seen as much difference cosmetically as I did from months 3 to 6. Just hold out guys. Finally I want to say an absolutely MASSIVE thank you to Dr Feller and Spex. I'm not sure if the Doc reads these forums but I know Spex does and I want them to know the difference they have made to my life. I feel more confident now than I did when I was 23 years old 10 years ago. Even my friends Have noticed how much more confident I am these days and although they don't know I have had a HT they all keep telling me how I look great lately. I would suggest anyone deciding on a HT to contact Spex. The guy has been amazing from the second I contacted him all the way up to the last couple of months. He answers emails faster than anybody I have ever worked with. I was always skeptical that so much great stuff was said about Spex and Doc Feller but it is definitely warranted. I think the evidence of how good the docs work has been is that nobody has noticed anything unnatural about my hair and my girlfriend who knows about the HT says it is completely indistinguishable from a natural head of hair. She says it looks completely natural. Anyway. This all sounds like a love letter. Haha. It's just as you can probably tell I am very happy. Pre Ops. These are now. No product or anything. Just straight out the shower and dry. And a wet shot

  6. Havent Posted in 2 Months. This is now 8 months post op. I now have a hair line and all is filling in. I just need some areas to thicken over the next 4 months. Particularly at the left of the front of the hairline.
  7. MGZ. My situation is similar to yours. When I was about 22 I had what doctors diagnosed as depression even though I wasn't depressed. Anyway, they stuck me on an antidepressant and it completely destroyed my libido. Like annihilated it within days. I felt no sexual desire at all. I came off it and it returned, then doctors put me on another antidepressant called sertraline which again destroyed my sex drive completely. Again it returned when I came off it. Anyway, this made me think that I would be at a high risk of libido side effects on finestride. However I started taking it 3 - 4 years ago and have not had any noticeable side effects at all. Nothing. Also it has completely stabilised my hair loss to the point that I do not think I have lost any hair at all since I started it.
  8. Looks like you are getting a little bit of growth already man. Great stuff.
  9. Man. Great to hear you are feeling more confident about your hair. My honest advice is if you can just forget all about it for the next 3 months.Easier said than done though. Don't check it each day though if poss.
  10. Thanks for the comments men. if it continues to thicken up over the next 3 or 4 months like it did that last one I should be storming. It's just that obviously thinner part around the temples which needs to thicken and mature now but it seems to be happening. Exciting times to come now @Icecreamman. I picked OKC. Doh. Haha. Good job I didn't bet. Miami were superb though. Hats off.
  11. Mate. I have done exactly the same trip as you so feel free to hit me up for any advice or support. The apprehension thing makes perfect sense too.
  12. 6 Month update today. Getting thicker. That 4th pic deffo looks worse than it is as the hair is pulled apart a bit.
  13. ZOPA are amazing. P2P lending with extremely low rates.
  14. If you are traveling to NYC for a HT in my opinion you have to be looking at Dr. Feller. He is a field leader and consistently posts superb results. I had my HT in January and after 2 years research decided to go to Feller. My scar is amazingly thing and my results are already storming along even though I haven't hit the 6 month mark. I would say you are definitely doing the right thing going to North America and to me Feller is the top choice. Another point though, you really really need to also look into treatment now. The Hair Transplant will adress the areas that are bald now but you will continue lose further hair as you get older. It is imperative to work on stabilizing your hair loss as soon as possible. I started thinning at about 27, started finestride at about 29 and to my knowledge have not lost any hair whatsoever since starting the drug. I was fully stabilized and at the age of 32 (January) I had my Hair Transplant. I also got virtually no shock loss after my procedure and I think this was due to stabilizing my hair loss with finestride. ANyway man. It was mentioned above but I'd message a guy on this forum called Spex. He is a consultant for Feller but even aside from that he gave me absolutely loads of advice on the procedure and stabilizing hair loss.
  15. Hello MagnumPi. From my personal experience with Dr. Feller, My scar was undetectable from a couple of weeks in. Within 4 weeks I was shaving it to grade #4 and from about 7 or 8 weeks in I was shaving it to grade #3. Nobody has ever noticed it and my GF said it's undetectable. In fact my barber said he has never seen hairs grow out of a scar like mine (Tricho closure) These are the sides of my hair shaved to number 3 at 4 months with flash on and off.
  16. There is an obvious improvement even with the hair short. Good luck on the next one man.
  17. Great to here that it's helping with your confidence man.
  18. Thanks. I know Dr Feller is one of the pioneers of Fue and strip. Depending on the size of your procedure he may recommend strip due to higher graft survival rate. I'd say to get a consultation or message Spex. Thanks Chris. How was yours at 5 months mate? And compared to now?
  19. Also here are some more pre op pics that I got from the doctor to give an idea of how my hair was before.
  20. 5 month update guys. Just patiently waiting now. Actually I haven't been taking any notice as been on holiday. I assume I'm at a good place for 5 months though : )
  21. Great work on the Article and also on coming out. I really enjoyed reading your last post. I was talking to a friend of a friend in a nightclub a few weeks ago who was telling me that he is concerned with his hair loss and I really wanted to tell him about what I'd been up to. Great article though and top notch pic. Maybe a career as a thirty something model : )
