  2. All I wanted to provide a few updated photos as it has been four months since my hair restoration procedure. I am blonde so it is a bit hard to see during the summer - but it is growing and looks great. Big boost to confidence for a 24 year old guy AP
  3. Dude2012 David is right, I had my hair restoration surgery two weeks ago. I am on propecia to help keep the hair I do have, and potentially, regrow a few on my crown area. My restoration was to reestablish my front hairline. P
  4. I have been taking propecia for a little over two weeks since my hair restoration surgery, and my girlfriend is getting pissed. Not sure if it is mental, I am only 24, and I need to talk to my doctor about a secondary treatment. You know how women are.. Be lucky you haven't experienced it.
  5. DXD, I started losing my hair when I was 15 and in high school. I understand where you are coming from. While mine started with a receding hairline, yours is less noticeable right now, which is good! Stick with the treatment you are using now and be sure to stay consistent. In a few months, if you just started, you should notice it start to fill in. Patience and a positive attitude is important, there are many people on this site who started like you, or like me before you.
  6. That was during the middle of the surgery and they also went a bit further back.
  7. Dutch, thanks for the response. Well, I had the opportunity to speak with two previous patients in the DC area which helped. It was also accessible by metro, I didn't want to drive home afterwards. A minor detail but important nonetheless. The doctor was very involved and we were able to work together so I we could reach maximum results. I didn't know that a natural recession happens to us guys, of course when you are 15 and you start losing your hair everything is accelerated. So we found a common ground which you can see from one of the pictures. He called a few times during the weekend after the surgery, and when I had my scab question (about the hair falling out with the scab) he called me back and explained what happens. Just a wait game right now. P
  8. Hello all, I started losing my hair when I was 15; and after finishing graduate school at 24 I decided to have the procedure done at the Bosley office in Washington DC. I have attached a few photos from before, DURING, and after the procedure. I had the procedure done on February 24th. The doctor initially wanted to restore 1800 graphs but with my natural thin sandy blonde hair, they actually were able to get ~2100 from the donor area. Not bad! The scabs have been falling off (some with the little hairs), but my head is healed. From what I was told it is natural for the scab to take the little hairs because the graph is still left in my head. You can tell I am a Rookie at this... Enjoy the pictures, please feel free to ask questions. P
