  1. Looking good. Seems like that True fut was a waste of time and money. I like the hairline. Looks like the meds have really filled in your crown area. Nice!
  2. It looks good but those pics are a little small and kind of blurry. How much did 4100 grafts cost you? Have a website link?
  3. Ouch well let's start by covering the $800 laser therapy....it's total crap. As for a doctor not telling you before or after how many damn grafts he transplanted well that's just fucked up. Did you do any research at all? Post some pics for real opinions.
  4. Could be shock loss. Grow your hair half a inch longer...end of problem
  5. No this site doesn't do that but if you ask you'll hear the same 5 or so names repeated over and over. This isn't a contest. Just do your research and read up on peoples experiences...the good the bad and the ugly. A ranking system sounds like it could go bad so easily. A lot of people on here work for certain doctors and are biased etc etc etc.
  6. Spanker i have to disagree with "If you cant afford the top range of that, you can't afford a transplant IMO." Price is what kept me from getting a transplant from about 2008-2005. I just didn't have $10,000+ laying around to get my hair fixed. (also i didn't want a strip scar) If i had known i could get my hairline fixed for only $4000 I would have had it done years ago and i wouldn't have had to live with the insecurities of a receding hairline and giant forehead for so long. My doctor has the cheapest FUE prices I've seen and yet does excellent work. Then again some doctors on here do at best a mediocre job yet they charge a ton of money.
  7. bsass check out Dr Nader in Mexico
  8. Thread from another website about Puig... Hair Loss Help Forums - Dr. Carlos J. Puig is INCOMPETENT (Physicians' Hair Restoration Center (PHRC)) - PROOF below!!
  9. I agree i think this will turn out great iq732. I'm going back to nader for more in December. The 2000 fue grafts i received can totally stand on their own but i have hair greed and want more haha. I just had a friend cut my hair tonight and they have no clue i had anything done to my hair. They remarked how nice my hair is....well 18 months ago i had no real hairline and a big ol' forehead haha. So it feels good and Dr. Nader is awesome!
  10. Yeah i remember Puig being shit talked pretty heavily on here for bad results.
  11. Check out Nader in Mexico just over the border. His work is great and will cost you a lot less. He only does FUE too
  12. "It's been 6.5 mo journey to date and each day I look in the mirror and cannot believe my transformation. I get so many compliments about my hair from guys and girls, mostly girls who rub their fingers thru my hair without asking." That's how i felt 6 months after my FUE too. Good for you Bondi! I hadn't had a hair compliment in about a decade but after my procedure i get them all the time. I've had girls run their fingers through my hair giving me compliments and they can't tell anything was done and that's the best feeling.
  13. I second the GROW A PAIR and just man up and shut up. Live a long life being bald and afraid. Going to the dentist can be way more painful than getting a transplant.
  14. The anesthetic needles are the only part of my 2000 graft FUE that hurt at all but it was only for a second. Your'e worrying about this way too much man. Just go for it. The thought of pain scared me too but if i had known how easy a fue operation actually is i would have done it 5 years earlier. It's one of the best things I've ever done.
  15. mxb1234 welcome to the wild wonderful world of growing old haha. I hope your not losing your hair man but if you are it isn't the end of the world. Take a good look at the hair genetics on both sides of your family that will give you a good idea of whats to come.
  16. For me it looked good at 6 months. I was a fast grower. I'd say it was at about 65% grown in then. The one year mark was when every hair was growing nicely, the hairs had thickened, and i was satisfied. MrMatt did you take Biotin? I took a ton of biotin for the first 6 months after my ht. Etownone post some pics
  17. It looks good but 4800 grafts is a huge number I'd expect it to look better. Have any before pics or pics of the graft placement? Who was your doctor?
  18. Dr. Arocha what are your FUE prices? You should put them on your website
  19. Top 10 lists are just a matter of opinion. My results are as good as any on this site and my doctor (Nader) isn't even on here. I'd say your best chance of getting a "crazy dense result and a cool hairline" would be from Dr. Diep. Since he's in California everyone wants a super youthful hairline so that's what he's good at.
  20. Yeah get some good pain meds and take them before the pain starts man. I had 2000 fue and felt no pain during or after. Also have you followed instructions and kept it clean back there? What size punch did the doctor use? Mine was .8
  21. inkdmouse you need some real pain meds not just Tylenol. My doctor gave me enough meds to last over a week after my 2000 graft FUE I had NO PAIN during or after the procedure. I also took my meds beeeefore the pain had a chance to start.
  22. Trichophytic closure doesn't guarantee that your scar will be thin and stay that way. FUT scars can stretch over time. Your FUE options are plentiful nowadays so why risk having a noticeable scar? Just pick a great doctor that only does FUE and go for it. Getting your head shaved sucks but it grows back
