  1. Bad game plan to cover that much area with only 3000 grafts. As others have already said you need 3000+ just to rebuild your hairline. I don't think you'll be very happy with this result. Plan on getting another HT in a year. Good luck man
  2. Another terrible Colorado experience... http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/176626-miserable-experience-terrible-results-cschi-colorado-surgical-center-hair-i.html
  3. If she counted 1500 incision sites and the doctor claims to have done 3000 grafts i highly doubt the doctor "doubled up" each incision. Sounds like he doubled up his wallet and his free time to o play golf that day. I'm sure a lot of doctors give you fewer grafts than they claim. They love to have you on the hook for a 2nd , 3rd, and 4th transplant.
  4. Man i want to eat that chocolate hahaha. Looks great. HDC results are always great.
  5. 911 fan my 2000 fue transplant from Dr Nader went amazingly. Every graft grew in nicely. Dr Naders website does indeed suck but I guess he doesn't need a updated/slick website since the man is doing transplants 5 days a week.
  6. a simple google search tells you all you need to know.. Ripoff Report | Colorado Surgical Center & Hair Institute Complaint Review Lone Tree, Colorado: 1174249
  7. I had 2000 fue grafts done by Dr Nader 10 months ago and my results are excellent. Every hair has grown in nicely and about 1/4th never even shed they just grew from day one. He is very knowledgeable and he stopped doing fut procedures a couple of years ago. To me that shows he cares about his patients.
  8. You should have did FUE for such a small number of grafts instead of risking a scar/nerve damage. Yes it looks better but if you put another 1000 grafts in there it would look awesome.
  9. Octave you'll need about 2000 grafts. Go Fue and you'll be golden since your loss isn't terrible at 38.
  10. Shadow nailed it. Diep's hairline videos show the man knows what he' doing and is one of the best around.
  11. I'm at 7 months post-op from my 2000 Fue with Nader and it took time for the right side to catch up. About 1/3rd of my grafts never even shed
  12. If your set on staying around LA I'd suggest Dr. John Diep just look at all the results on his youtube channel. His hairline results look awesome. I also had my fue done in Mexico and every single graft has grown in nicely. My result is as good as any on this site and it cost me way less. Do your research.
  13. Yeah update please i want to know if your up to 6 hairs yet lol
  14. It's way too early to get scared about this. Once the grafts grow in you'll be fine. Relax.
  15. Affordable FUE doesn't always mean subpar results. We see subpar fue result from doctors who charge a TON of money. The only thing you should base choosing a FUE surgeon on is the results you've seen. I paid the lowest you can pay for 2000 grafts to my hairline and every single graft has grown in nicely here at the 6 month mark. I'm glad i didn't spend thousands more. Honestly i couldn't afford some of the ridiculous prices surgeons in the states charge. $8 - $10 per graft? LOL What a joke.
  16. "FUE is a good procedure for smaller cases. If you need greater than 1000 grafts -now or in the future- you would be better served going with FUT (strip) procedure." I hope newbies reading that statement from a recommended doctor are smart enough to do some research and see the risks in a FUT far outweigh those in a FUE. Ask the hundreds of guys on here who have had 1000+ FUE sessions from a good doctor and see if they would trade it all for a smiley face scar on the back of their heads. You know who is pro FUT? Doctors who don't like the extra work FUE requires and people who have already had FUT and figure if it was good enough for them it's good enough for the rest of the world.
  17. Common side effects of FUE.....more hair, bigger smile, no giant scar on the back of your head. haha
  18. Lileli you we're in good hands with Dr. Nader I had 2000 fue grafts to my hairline 6 months ago and the experience/result has been great.
  19. If anyone pays $18,000 for 2000 FUE grafts they are crazy...and have too much money lol. I had 2000 grafts to my hairline for $4000 in Mexico and my results look as good as any other result on this forum.
  20. I don't take them 4 at a time i take 4 throughout the day so i don't piss them out haha
  21. Splitting hairs...yeah agreed it will not prevent loss but might make the hair you have left thicker/healthier. I didn't notice your in the UK it seems way easier to get certain meds here in the u.s. Squatch I've taken biotin off and on for over a decade when i do take it regularly i notice every hair on my damn body growing way faster lol. Before my FUE my hair had never been buzzed off. Having a smooth bald head was a sorry sight so i figured I'd bump my biotin intake up for a couple of months to hurry along the regrowth.
  22. I see so much misinformation on these groups. You can buy Biotin 10,000 mcg pills at Walmart like i do for $6. I've been taking 2 a day for 6+ months. I had a 2000 FUE procedure a month ago and since then have been taking 4 a day with NO acne whatsoever and my hair (and body hair of course) has been growing extremely fast. So Ne001 i say go ahead and take 2 a day it's not going to hurt anything. Splitting hairs how can you believe Biotin won't effect your hair in a positive way? Many hair transplant doctors recommend it and if you go on youtube you'll see a ton of people talking about it's benefits
