  1. I have the same situation and would be interested to hear if anyone has had this issue successfully corrected or seen it corrected. I have not gotten the same answer twice from any doctors. Everything from pulling the hairs out myself to see if they grow back less compacted to adding singles... This is what makes me not trust any surgeons in the industry. From graft counts to repair, there seems to be no consensus on anything, which makes it hard to know who to trust.
  2. It is very hard to capture with a picture, but attached is another one. There is pitting in the very front especially, and then there are dark spots at the base of multi hair grafts. I am trying to figure out if they are related or separate. In other word, will fixing the pitting fix the graft appearance, or will removing the grafts fix the pitting, or is it two completely different problems.
  3. No shave at all, or small strips shaved? I am interested in the ufue they are doing in Europe where they extract long hair from the donor site, but the closest I have found here is the the cit that he does.
  4. Attached. Tough to see because of the native hair, but the black dots are where multi hair grafts are protruding from pits. Looks alright at some angles and lighting and awful in others. My concern is, do I address the pitting or the multi hair grafts first, or will a treatment help both at once. I am thinking of just pulling the grafts out myself, but not sure if that will make it worse.
  5. Thanks. Some of the multi hair grafts where there are pits look like little black pimples at the base of the hair. Would an improvement in the pitting help the look of those grafts, or is that a separate issue that requires they be plucked or removed another way?
  6. I am going to need another procedure to repair/fill in the first, but I can't take much time off of work, and I can't shave my head because of the pitting from the previous procedure. It looks like they are doing undetectable fues now in Europe, where they remove hairs from the donor area at full length. They say this allows them to pick the best grafts.Seems like a game changer for those trying to be stealth about a transplant. I know some clinics will shave strips in the donor area, but does anyone know of any American clinic offering this ufue technique?
  7. Hello, I have some pitting right in the front of my hairline from a transplant. I have looked into lasers, but get conflicting information on whether I have to shave, additional risks of making the area worse, etc. Has anyone had or seen laser treatment done successfully for pitting without having to shave the area? Short of lasers, has anyone heard of at home remedies for pitting actually working? Derma rollers, creams lotions with massage, etc. Thanks
  8. I'd rather not antagonize them right now, as they are giving me PRP treatments to help the skin and try and maybe jump start the grafts. I will let everyone know who it was however this turns out though. It is pretty life ruining right now. I wanted this to be a secret, and now I have a red ring with dents in it around my hairline, with some annoying grafts left that will not shed or lay down flat... Pretty much a worst case scenario so far, and I am still shedding native hair, so of course, I know it could get worse... I have seen the posts and know the replies to come, but this is the worst decision of my life.
  9. Thanks for the replies. Here is an updated picture with a good camera if it changes anything...
  10. I appreciate the encouragement and will try to post better pictures. But have you actually seen/heard where these blade holes have been there at 5 weeks post op and actually smoothed over? I hear that is is early and that healing takes time for some, but just looking for any actual cases where this has happened. My understanding was that the recipient sites should be smooth as soon as the scabs come off?
  11. Thanks. Tough to wait for 4 to 6 months when it is right on my hairline, and I am losing native hair to shock loss... I look like a have a ring of pock marks from acne around my hairline. This has truly ruined my life. I would be interested if anyone had these little diviots/pore marks at 5 weeks and actually had them smooth out on their own.
  12. Hello, I had a transplant 5 weeks ago, and it feels like the biggest mistake of my life. I see little divots/pore marks where each and every graft was placed. The clinic says it is not pitting but rather blade marks that are healing slower than normal and they will smooth over, but I am worried it is actually pitting. Are these little marks normal at 5 weeks? I have attached a file. Not sure how clearly you can see, but in the right light, they are obvious.
