  1. I have used Rogaine for at least 10 years. When I first started using it I had significant improvement in my crown. Over the years that diminished, but I am quite sure that I would have lost a lot more hair over the years if I was not using it. I just started using Fin this year.
  2. Your results look great and at 7 months, you will still probably continue to get better over the next few months.....very nice!
  3. There is one right below that one called "Hair Transplant.....". If you still can't find it let me know and I will post them in the thread.
  4. Thanks Bonker......the first album has before and one day post op side by side.
  5. Thanks greatjob......yes, it was colored before with just for men, touch of grey. Now it is natural. I will add a hairline pic tomorrow.
  6. Thanks man.......just in the waiting game now.
  7. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I didn't drink a lot, but I made sure I was sipping on my water throughout the day and had a sprite with lunch. You are going to need to get up and out of the chair a few times anyway.....it is a long day and a stretch is good.
  8. Decided to get a short haircut today to even everything out. Most of the grafts have shed. I am pretty amazed at how well the native hair has grown already in and around the scar so quickly. Photos are posted on my page.
  9. During my surgery I was drinking water and soft drinks as well as breaking for lunch, and it was not an issue for me even though it was a long day.
  10. Looking good!! Once the new hair gets going you are going to be a happy guy.
  11. TC, I agree with you. I think it all is a matter of what "stand alone" means. It may not mean that the patient remains happy holistically with his hair. The transplant may stand alone, but to keep the same level of coverage over time may require an additional pass. I think we are talking about the same thing, I just think everyone getting a transplant should realize that if they want the same overall coverage for the long run, they may have to get more than one transplant, since the first one may "stand alone", but the progression of hair loss over time changes the patient's appearance.
  12. At the point where you are, 9 weeks out, I can't see how 8 minutes in the sun would do any damage at all.
  13. It does look like you continued to lose native hairs resulting in the thinning. You really should consider using fin & rogaine to slow or stop your hair loss.
  14. I think that normally in 2 weeks you can look pretty good after the procedure. Your hair does look a little thinner, and if someone is looking close, they can see that you have a lot of new transplanted hairs, but overall most people are not looking that close. I am five weeks out from my surgery and have several pics posted from the first week and then at 15 days. My recipient area was not shaved. The hair in my crown area was cut short, but not shaved and so it was not bad. There was a little bit of trimming in the hairline as well, but nothing noticeable to anyone. I went out to dinner 5 days after my transplant and told the people with I had just had it. They said they would not have known had I not said something.
  15. Aaron, I agree. The exception may be cases where two procedures are better to accomplish the goal, given laxity, scarring issues, etc., or in a case where over a long period of time the hair loss has progressed to the point that another procedure is wanted/needed to make the hair look natural or acceptable again.
