    You should and probably will see improvement. On the flip side, 4 months is not very long either so don't freak out if you don't see a huge improvement.

    I don't think it looks terrible,.. The good news is you have a great head of hair left. Go see Dr Arocha in Houston. He will line you out straight. Also, I really don't think you got enough grafts to restore the front. Had you went to someone like Dr Rahal, he could have made you look like a teenage again.

    Looks great…right on schedule..you are going to have an excellent result.. Funny…when Dr Rahal was starting to draw my hairline in he started to draw it a little lower and I said why don't we go a little higher to be on the safe side… Great to see a surgeon err on the side of caution..he knows what he's doing! Top Notch!

    I agree..however Dr Rahal has to be mentioned as one of the best FUT. If there is such a thing as everybody's top 5...he's got to be in it.

    I do tend to agree with this…most people just don't have an Arocha in the back yard..I did go all the way to Canada though!! And it was certainly worth it!

    Funny.. Im from Ark and Rahal did my surgery and then I drove all the way to Houston and Dr Arocha took out my sutures.. He also took me out for a few beers and dinner after that! I love Dr Rahal but you can't go wrong with Dr Arocha! He's top notch.

    Easy for me 4-5 months and then another huge boom from 9-10 months.

    I would suggest staying on both for a while together before you stop.

    Look at my blog.... I had two transplants done at 19&20 yo. I waited 18 more yrs and had a megaseesion done with Dr Rahal. At pre op he was concerned about getting 4k grafts because of previous work. However, during surgery he said my laxity was great and he got 4800 grafts. He then told me I had 3-4K more strip so it's all dependent on laxity. Ask your surgeon.

    Crazy as it sounds…this was a concern for me as well..its a normal part of the process for some people…I know what you are thinking.. You want someone young and up-to-date with the latest and greatest!

    Sounds like this: This is from Dr Rahal post op instructions word for word and if this is what you are having its VERY COMMON “Valleys” after one week, in some cases, there will be clumping of the hair which gives the appearance of valleys with no hair. This is typical and your hair will go back to normal

    Ethically...you will not find a better surgeon the Dr Stough. I wish I would have went to his office when I was 18 because he would have told me to GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! I think he was a very early pioneer in the field. I think he is VERY conservative( but that's not always a bad thing).

    Most people talk about slow crown growth but mine seemed to come along as fast as the rest of my transplant. I just remember thinking " WOW" at 4 months and 9 months. Those were my two BIG noticeable months. Yours will be great. Did Dr Rahal think you could do another strip? Did he give you a ball park on graft supply left?

    I can't add anything to what Blake said. Good luck to you. Actually I do have one piece of advice...there have been PLENTY of people on here with horrible transplants, me included at 19 years old, I'm now 40 and I have the best hair I've had since I was 20 ! I found a great surgeon here on this site.
