  1. Just to add, I will put up some proper pictures that the clinic took, once I have them in the next few days.
  2. If you look on my profile I have pictures from pre and post op on my first round. This second procedure was to address the density that I wanted. The first 1647 FUT i had made a really nice cosmetic change, but I always new that I would need a second for the result that I desired. Thats one of the great things about Dr Dorin, he doesnt sugar coat anything and is 100% realistic in his approach to things.
  3. Just back from my second treatment by Dr Dorin and his team.Day went great, enjoyable as always with such a great practice and the team he employs. So this was to hopefully finish off my hairline, which has now had a total of 3227 FUT grafts. Take a look at the scar from my first procedure. Strip removed and donor closure completed. Incisions made, ready for grafts to be sited. Back at hotel, hair combed back to show todays results. Again, thanks to everyone at True and Dorin, I cannot recommend Dr Dorin enough, a pleasure to deal with as always. I will add some more pictures that were taken on a SLR camera by the clinic, once Ive been for my cleanup tomorrow.
  4. Hair looks great, I bet you are really pleased and still plenty left to come. Really enjoyed reading your threads about this.
  5. I was supplied with a cream to use for around 7 days after my transplant.
  6. I used it about 4 times in a week once and I had a worrying shed, never again. Once a month is enough in my book!
  7. Provisionally booked in for 1400 FUT.
  8. I find that stuff more hinderance than good, I really dont rate the stuff at all.
  9. Back to visit Dr Dorin again on January the 8th to hopefully finish off my frontal restoration. Exciting times!
  10. You look to have a good thick head of hair from the pictures. Unfortunately, finasteride is not known for much regrowth on the front part of the scalp (as far as im aware), but great that you've stabilised your loss. I would start some Minoxidil then you are giving yourself all the chance you can. Other than that, its time to get saving for a transplant, unfortunately.
  11. I'd personally (and am) using both, both different ways of treating the scalp, I'll take all the help I can get!
  12. 6 Months!!! wow, that is going to be some head of hair at 12 months onwards! Great work.
  13. Thanks for your opinions. I will definitely be doing a second one to increase density. Dont get me wrong the first op has given me a nice cosmetic change, but I really want it thicker on the areas that received the grafts last time. Its going to take some planning this one!
  14. Im nearly 2 years from my first procedure which saw 1647 FUT added to my hairline. I am happy with the result, and always knew I'd be looking at 2 procedures minimum to achieve what I wanted with a hairline that Im happy with. Im now at the point where I'd like to go for a second transplant, but Im still deciding on where to go for this and whether to do FUE or FUT. My scar from my first procedure is so neat, it seems a shame to revisit, but I know plenty have just as good results on scar neatness on the second procedure. Im quite limited for time after my procedure and cannot take any time off, outside of my 2 weeks off that I get after 2 weeks that I work away. Also hiding the op is a big thing for me, which I managed fine last time with longer hair and my linear scar from FUT. I would definitely go back to Dr Dorin, who I found very good the first time, the only thing Im not quite happy with is, is some cobble stoning which I still have. Also, the recipient site has some redness still, which you can see in the picture (these were taken just after a shower, when it looks much worse, I might add). Europe would be much easier for me, due to timeframe, but like I say, Dorin and his team were great to deal with. Some pictures here, the redness like I say, is much more prominent after a shower/bath etc. Just thinking out loud here, be interested to hear peoples views.
  15. Hi Janna, thanks for that. I've always had a visible crown, I was just stressing that it had maybe got bigger......sometimes you look for something that isnt there! Im fine with having the whirl, just wanted to hear other opinions on my hair.
  16. Thanks guys, needed some other opinons on this! Yes, hairline only, nothing in the rear.
  17. Thanks, yeah Im 36. Im on minox and finasteride, a year on each now. Someone at work was trying to wind me up about it, and I've been looking at it ever since!
