  1. right guys forstly apologies for double posting but here goes im on a website 4rx.com and i am about to place an order for 90pills of generic finasteride, at $68 including delivery to the uk can i get cheaper than this??
  2. that sounds very encouraging mate! is there a link that i can click on to get cheap finasteride?
  3. sounds too good to be true mate, proscar rogaine and nizoral then yeah? also does taking smaller dose (eg cutting it up) make it less effective?
  4. im 26 , 27 end of february, slightly mature hairline very slight thinning just above i am currently on rogaine foam which i find really good and it seems to thicken hair also, but could i go on finasteride and that shampoo nizoral? ive read these three are very effective in keeping and maye even bettering what hair you have also i have seen GENERIC finasteride, i realise it is not from the propecia brand but has same ingredients, shall i go for the propecia or the generic which is cheaper?
  5. Dr. Lindsey, first of all many thanks for sharing this, it is very similar to my hairline however my hair is a bit thicker and the M hairline is not as "sharp" but if i was to let nature take its course im positive i would end up like your patient. Is it better to sort it out now as my mature hairline has not receeded anymore in over 2 years? thank you
  6. i had severe itching therefore iv had t stop im now going on to a 5% foam which claims to be less irritant topical minoxidil can be a pain in the arse
  7. all the best with this speegs seems to be coming on fine
  8. RC west i can confirm that what happened to me major scalp irratation
  9. gubter i hope you find a solution at 22 maybe you are young like the guys said here BUT these are the best days of your life where we all want to look the part, girls etc etc im 26 and seriuosly considering a hairline HT
  10. tbh mate, looking at your pictures you aint that bad! sure slight loss in the front area BUT i cant see anything major that would need doing
  11. as in thread title really... i have been using topical minoxidil for 2 months and recently i have noticed slight shedding above my hairline, initially i panicked but ive heard about a shedding phase? how long does this usualy last for? also im coming off minox solution, but starting the foam version as topical solution irritated me scalp. any advice? thanks
  12. i applied minoxidil solution to my hair line and i saw some hairs come up but discontinued it as it was irratating me
  13. after a very good email exchange with the guys from the Farjo clinic (UK) I was advised to try the minoxidil foam 5% for approx 9 months and then come back if situation got worse.... Should i use the foam alongside a prescription of finesteride from my GP? along with maybe nizoral shampoo? any advice would be gratefully appreciated i will post up my problem areas, im 26 hair is generally thick, but i have put to bed thoughts of a HT as who knows if i get these areas sorted out i could still have problems in others!
  14. i will wait for the big boys to answer that one for you friend im not sure
  15. welcome to the forum! you have made a wise choice in joining, i have only been signed up for a week and find this website most informative and im sure you will get the answers you are looking for...what is your hairline like? are you currently using anything at the moment? eg minoxidil, finesteride my problem is my hairline, got the typical M shape however whilst using monoxidil iv noticed it to become thicker maybe give this a try
  16. pictures as i said i would opinions please? picture one left side, picture two right side, picture 3 hair styled forward, sometimes to the side too
  17. depends what sort of result you wanted really, im not really keen on straight hairlines. you see (for example) federico macheda of man utd, he has a very straight hair line, maybe looks good on him because of his italian skin etc but id rather slightly different result to my hairline
  18. receeding hairline sort of creeps up on you without realising, i noticed mine when i went for my usual grade one back and sides cut short on top and i was shocked when looking at pictures as to how far it went back i then began growing my hair alot longer than what i used to and pulled the styles off but now i long for a buzz cut without the stupid M hairline i have emailed farjo clinic expressing my concerns with pictures
  19. well done mate! looking like it will be a success the going back to work is a slight issue and tbh i think its very brave what you have done you saw you was losing at the front and got somthing done about it credit to you!! i may be emailing you soon mate with a few questions if thats ok
  20. ok guys thanks i was thinking if i manage to attack this early then ill be fine, although yes i understand i may need to touch up a few of my freinds lost their hair but they look better since going the once over, but i really like my hair and want to do an array of styles is finesteride available from my GP if i make appointment? to be honest alot of people around my area just dont do anything about their pattern baldness and let nature take its course but i guess we are all different and i crave the old hair line i used to have
  21. sparky no mate im trying to gt 4k to get the desired result i dont mind because after all it is there for life and a worthwhile investment
  22. thanks for your reply, i have been using minoxidil and it working ok, just scalp gets really itchy im starting to take more care of hair now, no vigorous towel drying, no blow dry etc i have my hair short at the moment also used to have the typical sweep over like most young lads have these days but mine was sort of concealing the slight maturing of the hairline i guess my confidence needs improving, i get compliments off ladies but im stil unhappy about it inside and want to "nail" the problem before i reach my 30's, i have 2k saved up so i think i might book myself in for consultation one question however... should i go ahead with the FUE to make my hairline to what i want it to be like, do the surgeons have to shave the treated area before the op? i have thick hair so this would be ideal to conceal the op whilst i wait for the new hair regrowth? thank you
