  1. Are you threatening HTsoon btw? Sure sounds like it. If you're anything like your other alias Taurisrisen I have no doubt you had better think twice about that.
  2. Milo12 or whoever your real alias is, in nearly seven years as an active member on this forum you are by far the most disruptive, disrespectful, abusive and combative member I have ever seen. Your self-centered thread hijacking pursuits, argumentative nature, constant degrading density comments to veteran HT members and most recent attack on HTsoon who is one of the most helpful and respected members on this forum are NOT welcome. Find another forum to hang out on and disrupt, none of us want you around. This is the most respected hair restoration site on the internet and we've worked very hard to keep it this way. I am reporting you to the senior owners of this forum.
  3. Congrats man looking very good. You did your research and went with a surgeon who produces consistent results with few or no negative feedback, now you get to reap the rewards. Enjoy
  4. 600 if you go back behind the forelock. You don't need anything over 1,000 unless you were to lower the hairline or unless the pics are showing more hair than there is. The reason being the larger 2s, 3s and 4s are going to be transplanted for added density and there's not a lot room to accommodate the larger grafts with the current result. Does Rahal do stick and place? Anyway for a one and done, perfect result. Being long-term and steady on Fin is the foundation to getting a home-run in one shot.
  5. Agreed with Gillenator, sounds like fishy info to me. If you have certain scalp conditions such as SD you should avoid very hot water, and I've heard of some people recommending ending your shower with cold water to close the pores but it's not going to help save your hair if you have MPB or diffuse thinning.
  6. Basically that is true though Bisanga (and also Konior) is known as being among the few who excels at both.
  7. Mav is 100% right and I wrote a similar lengthy post on how this POS just continues to piss off veteran HRN users and pretends we don't know who he is under his new alias. Yeah right, we're all fooled... I edited my original post in an effort to ignore everything going on so this POS would just go away. And what did he do? He went ahead and tried to spin HTsoon's post to make it seem like HTsoon was making a negative statement towards the OP, just unbelievable ridiculous shit. Honestly we've been too nice to this individual and he's created enough negative karma towards himself his day is bound to come. I don't know any other forum that would let someone shit all over place and the veteran members time and time again. Enough is enough.
  8. HTsoon made a good point about Feriduni on another thread recently, it's quite hard to find actual patient experiences on here and elsewhere. Despite people alway's saying he's one of the default top 3 etc. That plus his long waiting list makes him less of an actual real alternative. Bisanga and Lupanzula both have reasonable waiting lists. Bisanga did train Lupanzula and has more years of HT surgeon experience. Both are also located in the same general neighborhood in Brussels and you would stay at the same hotel - the Catalonia Forum - if going with either. I would try to have skype consults with both, and research results that match your current hairloss pattern and extent and make a final decision based on those outcomes. good luck
  9. Still looks good to me Ernie. Do you have the need to wear it that short? If not as mentioned I wouldn't do anything until the two-year mark, your transplanted hair cycles are still balancing out including possible final growth spurts etc. My latest procedure was to go for shorter look to manage my scalp eczema so that's the only reason I did it inlcluding the temple points. Still it only totalled 700 grafts and less than 300 went behind the hairline and frontal third, so if you decide to do a touchup in 2 years time I'm sure you could do it with low graft count. Will be fun to plan for it yeah!
  10. La Roche-Possay's Kerium brand makes for a gentler dandruff shampoo than Nizoral, bit expensive but I have liked their Kerium Ds Intensive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for example. Their dandruff/SD fighting ingredient is piroctone olamine plus salicylic acid and a non irritating form of it called Capryloyl salicylic acid. *At 8 months post-op you should be Ok but run these ingredients past your HT surgeon just in case. Here is a similar shampoo https://www.dandruffdeconstructed.com/review-la-roche-posay-kerium-anti-dandruff-shampoo/
  11. Erdogan and Feriduni over Yaman and Clinik any day. Matt's recs are solid too.
  12. Great results and a natural and dense outcome. I like it. If he has the inclination and the grafts for it, a small procedure for the lower temple points especially on the lower left side would perfect things. Looks great though.
  13. 3-4 months is nothing in terms of long waiting lists. Dr. Couto's seems to be 3 years or more as mentioned above. Also waiting lists are good and bad, I wouldn't want to go with a surgeon who had no waiting list and some of the most respected and best ones out there you have to wait a year or more but it would be worth it in the long run. You also might get lucky and get a cancellation. Bisanga and Erdogan's waiting list are around 3-4 months most times of year and I think that's pretty reasonable for their caliber of results.
  14. Make sure you get it prescribed by a doctor so you can (1) carefully monitor for side effects under a doctor's guidance and (2) get a PSA test before starting which is important. The lowest dose I've heard people taking is .2mg but I'm sure that would be a pain in the ass to split the pills down to. .5mg 2-3x week in the case of Propecia (comes in 1mg tablets) or .625mg 2-3x week for Proscar (5mg tablets cut into eights) are some low dosages that people have mentioned. I take the latter 2x week after much experimenting and being on and off the drug.
  15. Congrats on the new mobile compatible site Bill. Still no https for login ?? SSL has been around since 1994 and it's now 2017... Don't ignore security in the new upgrade is my only nitpick.
  16. I went with him for small FUE touchup procedures, but there are cases on this site and others for FUT results if you search. Examples: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171945-4703-fut-dr-bisanga-brussels-21-august-2013-a.html (link removed my moderator) The world renown FUT surgeons are in my signature so they could be a starting point for further FUT doctors to research. anyway good luck
  17. There is also Dr. Ball in the UK for FUE, but I think Belgium gives you more advanced and varied options and it's just a stone throws away. DavidAnderson on this forum is a rep for Dr. Ball so try contacting him. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/DavidAnderson Also proepcia does work for most men but the catch is the possibility of side effects which cannot be predicted until one actually tries it.
  18. I think your donor looks fairly decent and you're old enough to have it done as you've reached your 30's and you seem to have made your mind up about the meds. There are a group of very decent hair restoration surgeons in Belgium, such as Dr. Bisanga, Feriduni and Lupanzula etc. I would start researching these docs and try to get an in person consultation also for a more precise evaluation for your case. From the pics you seem to be receding all the way back to the crown, so I would do a two-stage procedure the first one to restore your hairline and frontal third then a later one for the vertex and crown. good luck
  19. WTF anti-FUT? I've had both fue and fut procedures as per my signature. Another ill-thought post which does little for the OP.
  20. Yes it's an anti-dandruff/seborrheic dermatitis shampoo containing the active ingredient ketoconazole which helps kill fungus in the scalp. It can be very helpful for this use if used correctly. Ketoconazole was proven in some studies to reduce DHT in the scalp and thus it was often touted in the past as one of the "big 3" solutions for hair loss. The problem is the shampoo is very harsh and drying containing other ingredients such as hydrochloric acid, the shampoo can dry out the sebaceous glands if overused and people who have just had a HT or who already have a compromised scalp or hair follicles should avoid using it.
  21. Hey man a few of us mentioned possibly considering lower doses spaced out further apart on page one. Have you given it a thought? good luck
  22. MSM is a supplement some say speeds up growth of your native hair after you have it shaved or buzzed after a HT. I took it after my first procedure as I shaved down and I think it worked. After your hair grows back in there is no need to continue it. Here's an old post. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/165223-products-take-post-hair-transplant.html As for the pitfalls, there are really a lot of things to watch out for when searching for a hair restoration surgeon and even people who have researched it for years before choosing can unfortunately end up with a subpar result. Two key points that I mention to others are don't settle for lower price only as the deciding factor and also try to find a surgeon who has very little or zero published poor results. It's hard to do and takes a lot of time and research and even then there are no guarantees. You seem to have done your research and have made an educated choice over the other doctor so you should be good.
  23. As long as you've done your due diligence for surgeon selection and are in a position for a regret free procedure (there are a lot of pitfalls in this field trust me!) then everything's good. Also look into MSM supplement which many use post HT to speed up native hair growth. Sitting close to the bathroom will help if your doctor recommends spraying the grafts post-op and also to check on the grafted area if necessary. good luck!
