  3. the prolong redness could be from a shampoo that you are using. Your scalp may not like the shampoo and its irritating the area. Try a soothing shampoo like H&S or better yet H&S intensive care....fyi
  4. I think doctors can see where the old hair line used to be, and also by your scalp formation. The portion of your scalp just above the forehead....just my 2 cents....
  5. I used it from day one and its great. All it is is 2% zinc instead of 1% zinc. Very soothing and helps inflammation...........fyi

  10. This is not a simple answer and depends on the location where the work was done. If its the front third, then 3 months is a fair estimate. People will notice not that you had a hair transplant, but something is off. Here is the dilema, you keep your hair long in fear of the scar showing or shock loss. The redness gets better, but not quite there yet. The Bozo affect because the transplanted hair is not long enough.
  11. After reading all the negative affects from a couple of posters, I think alcohol can have a soothing affect!!

  14. Great post Dr. Feller. Competition is key or else we would still be driving cars that got 10 mpg and lasted ony 90,000 miles.
  15. I just started almost two months ago so the results are pending. I still feel that taking .5mg twice a day is the way to go. Also reducing to just .5 mg on Sat / Sun to off set costs. But never miss a day or you will interupt the "slow drip effect". Remember that this is my system, and not the recommendation of a doctor...fyi
  16. I think Bret may be that other guy who wants us to all take blood tests. If this Bret guy is for real, than I am sure his body is not developed yet and should have not gone on this drug....just my 2 cents........
  17. Finnari, that was a Hall of Fame post!!!!! "And yes I am putting the wood to my wife 3-4 times more then before."
  18. That is how I started. The first week I took 1/2 a tablet a day. The second week I took 1/2 a tablet twice a day. I firgured due to the half life, 1/2 a pill every 12 hours will stay in your system longer. One or two days a week, I will only take a 1/2 pill a day to off-set costs..........The above is my own idea and NOT the directions of a doctor...fyi
  19. Richie, looks great. Hope you are taking propecia and a quality omega 3. Omega 3 are great for inflammation.....good luck.
  20. Bandana is the way to go. Full coverage so the bandage will not be noticable....fyi
  21. Balding, do you exercise and weight train??. Do you have excessive fat around your mid section??. These factors can attribute and work against you as you get older.
  22. Congrats Spex!!!.Best of health to the family. By taking Propecia you didn't 1's but 2's.....
  23. Wear a hat until the red sunsides. It may take a couple of months....fyi
  24. I feel, its not so much the shaving, but the redness that looks odd. So if you would cut all the hairs on top of your scalp shorter, you would have this red patch. At first you can say its sunburn, but if it lingers for months....now what...........
