  1. Hi Incubus, I went to Dr. Chambers too. I had some work done by him in 1997, I think, or a little later. I called Dr. Robert Paunovich about 1 year ago and was going to get him to look at some scaring that I have but I decided not too. Dr. Chambers did do some nice work over all in placing grafts. I am sorry to read that you had a bad experience. It is great that you didn't get much done. There are lots of great doctors out there that will work with you. I will be seeing someone in there near future to remove some of this scaring. I will tell you that I understand your pain. When I was 19 I started losing my hair. And it emotially is overwheling. The adivice that I give you, is to stay strong, it will pass with time. Try to look at from the perspective that you are at least able to get something done. I am 29 now and am so glad that I was fortunate enough to get anything done. It all will Pass with time!! ;
  2. How did your procedure go? Where did you get it done if you don't mine me asking? Are they still in Miami? If so who was the doctor that did you procedure? Overall are you happy with the work that they have done for you? If you don't mind anwering these quesetions. I might go to see them at some point and see what they think the next step should be for me! I have had a lot of work done though and I am only 27! I started having full male pattern baldness at 20. It was then that I started getting the HT! My donor area feels smooth like you were saying yours does. How does your donor area look overall? Thanks for your replys BTW!!
  3. Well, since I have found this site I have had a strong concern about my donor area. In the past I have thought about the donor area but never had a concern about it. I got HT when I was 20 up till about 23 and I am now 27. I have had a lot done!! I guess I am concerned with the fact that my donor area is simply not that thick! I am worried about it thinning and being noticeable as I get older or getting sick of the HT and just shaving my head. I just hate really being stuck with ONE OPTION and that is to deal with the HT and not be able to shave my head..
  4. Thanks for the reply!! What a shame he got killed in that plane crash! I have had some work done by him back in like 95 to like 98. I happy with the work he did. The only area that I am concerned about is the scarring area.
  5. their head with a razor? If so how did it look? I have had the linear type HT done. Was there noticeable scarring? [This message was edited by Stim on March 08, 2004 at 08:07 PM.]
