Rafael Lima Rocha
Hello everyone, My name is Rafael Lima, and I'm thrilled to share my hair transplant journey with all of you. An incredible 12,191 grafts were transplanted, with 8,900 harvested from my donor area, a number significantly higher than what I've seen other surgeons achieve. Honestly, I never expected such a remarkable outcome. Dr. Felipe Pittella truly surpassed my expectations, also using "only" 3,300 grafts from my beard to complement the procedure. Moreover, he ensured dense coverage in the temporal region, which I believe will result in a pleasing aesthetic outcome. Regarding the surgery: I experienced some discomfort initially, but Dr. Pittella and his team addressed these issues well. It spanned over 2 consecutive days, with 6,074 grafts implanted on the first day and 6,117 on the second. Throughout the process, he kept me informed about the progress, and together we decided to implant additional grafts. They instilled complete confidence in me and worked tirelessly over these 2 days. I'm eagerly looking forward to tracking my progress and anticipating the final result. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for your attention. Senior Member Britanium Posted March 3 Senior Member Share Posted March 3 Stunning work as per usual from Dr P... Remains one of the top choices for higher Norwoods. Showing once again that FUT isnt necessarily needed to get huge amounts of grafts....

Is it fair to say we don’t yet know how this approach will go long-term?

Is it fair to say we don’t yet know how this approach will go long-term? I'm not concerned as I'm not the op. But since you asked... Look at the guys before pics, who's to say in this case it's outside the DHT reisitant zone, furthermore everyones will vary, I can't see any issues so far in Dr P cases. Time will tell, it always does. Both Dr P and Dr Z are pushing the boundaries of FUE. We can all look back in 5/10/15 years time 😉 Edited March 5 by Britanium

I realize time will tell. I just wanted to be sure I understood clearly, ie, potential to fall out someday. Thank you for clarifying.
