Regular Member TheDemon Posted February 28 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 28 Day 14 update: I restarted rogaine foam 2 days ago. Yesterday I had a “strange sudden pain”, like a pinch in the recipient area, it lasted some seconds but was very painful. What could be the reason? I couldn’t see nothing strange on my head. here are the pics please share your thoughts.
Regular Member TheDemon Posted March 5 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 5 Day 20 update: Almost 3 weeks and shedding mode is on. I continue having that strange burning feeling, the dr. told me to use an aloe Vera gel to mitigate it.
Regular Member TheDemon Posted March 13 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 13 1 month update: Shedding is hitting hard. I'm noticing some black dots, I don't know if they can be new hairs (so early?) or hairs still to shed. Nothing else to declare. Regular Member TheDemon Posted April 3 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 3 (edited) About Day 50, week 8 update: Almost all hair shed, except some strong survivors. I'm starting to have pimples, that doctor told me to open with a needle. I have still some noticeable redness. MarkR
Demon - the burning you had... was that the recipient site? I'm debating using aloe vera on mine (8 days out from surgery) but don't see many people talking about it for the recipient site. But if Dr. K told you that, then I'd proceed with it. Yes, it was on the recipient side, in the hairline area. I had that burning and sudden itching feeling for some days, I started with aloe vera but in a couple of days it disappeared. Moderators Al - Moderator Posted April 11 Moderators Share Posted April 11 Look at those first pictures. The transplanted hair is angled to perfectly match the native hair. You can see that a lot of thought and care went into how to create each hole. 1 Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com.
