Hey everyone,

I want to share my hair transplant experience with Dr. Keser in Ankara.

I am 33 years old and I have had hair loss for 10+ years.

Upon my arrival at the clinic, a very friendly and professional team welcomed me.

Right after I arrived, Dr. Keser started examining my hair. We discussed the ideal hairline, and he took pictures to document the process.

The operation spanned 4 days, with a breakdown of 650 + 650 + 650 + 600 grafts per day.

Dr. Keser was involved throughout the entire procedure, including the dressing part as well.

My observation about Dr. Keser is that he is very meticulous. He has his own standards, and until he reaches them, he is never satisfied. He never rushes things and he ensures that everything is perfect and aligns with his standards. I could feel that he really gave great care to each graft while extracting and implanting.

Regarding the nurses, Mrs. Senem has been working with Dr Keser from the beginning (since Dr Keser started doing hair transplants), and she has 20+ years of experience in this field. Mrs. Funda has been working with Dr. Keser for 10+ years and also has a lot of experience in this field. I mean, they really know what they are doing. Thanks to their help and guidance, I was calm and informed during the operation.

Overall, my experience with Dr. Keser and his team was very good. I truly felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process.

I am sharing my photos below. We will see the final result together.

Spettacolare!!!!

You said that Keser took 4 days for 2400 FU.
Can you elaborate?
Why did he take so much time?
Does he male "mini" HT on several patients for several days?

Thanks, yes, it took 4 days for 2550 grafts in total. He does everything himself and two nurses help him. He uses the stick-and-place method. I was the only patient there during those dates.

Hello all,
It has been one month since I got my hair transplant, and I wanted to share some pictures. There is some redness and some pimples, which concern me a little bit, but I'm hoping that everything goes right.

Getting old :) should try to catch the same light for the photos tbh

Joke apart, the black was your natural color?

did you decide to rebuild the temporal peaks? Or it was a doctor's choice?

Did you discuss the topic with him?

From what I see, he created to very straight lines. Did he explain this choice?

I am looking for a new HT to rebuild my Temporal peaks but that are a very "dangerous" area so I'm looking for the best doctor (Keser is one of them) and any input can be helpful.

Yes and yes I decided to rebuild my temporal peaks. I wanted to have something like 'Z' shape and told this to Dr.Keser. He designed the lines and I liked it and said yes happy to go with that. I mean he listens to his patients. If you have a specific design in your mind for temporal peaks, you can tell him and he can tell you what can or cannot be done.

Thai is great.
Wonder the kind of attitude that Keser has with his patient...
Can you talk with him and discuss the hairline?
how long does he take for hairline design?
Important: how many grafts did he quote for you at the beginning?

Well, I had a really nice experience there. Dr. Keser and his team were very friendly and professional. Always asked me how I felt and if I needed anything. In my case, I was the first person to speak about what type of hairline etc I wanted and based on my description, Dr. Keser started to design the hairline etc. And then we checked it again and again (tbh don't know how many times we checked it).  So, yes I think you can discuss the hairline with him. If your concern is something like Dr. will come and say 'Let's do this kind of hairline and it will be great' without asking you or ignoring your perspective, I don't think that's gonna happen there. I didn't check the time but probably it was about 30-40 min. I can say that there was no rush to design the hairline. In my case, after half an hour there wasn't much left to discuss.

Before surgery, I'd sent some pictures and Dr. Keser told me I'd need around 2500 grafts, it didn't change when he saw me in person. But on the last day we finished early and I asked for extra 50 grafts in the top area and he kindly agreed. However, I was prepared that there would be 200-250 grafts more needed because I think seeing the patient in person is different than just quoting based on the picture (especially if the pictures aren't perfect quality).

Hello all,
I just wanted to share my 2 months update with you. The shock loss is over and I think the waiting game has started. The donor area is still a little bit itchy and I still have some pimples from time to time, but much fewer than before. The implanted area is also still red and a bit numb but not as much as before. I hope I will get rid of this numbness and redness soon. In case you wonder, the ugly duckling phase is real 😜

That looks like it’s going to be excellent! I have a few questions.

What was Dr Keser’s English like?

How much did he charge per graft?

how did he find the centre of the hairline when designing the hairline? Did he use a laser or any instruments or literally just do it by eye?

Hope so, thanks. Well, we didn't need to speak English. As far as I know, an interpreter is available (based on other people's comments). it was 3.5 euro. He did the centre of the hairline with a camera and took measurements from the image.

Hello all,
I just wanted to share with you my three-month update. The redness, itchiness and pimples are finally gone and I am feeling better right now.  However, the implanted area is still numb which is a strange feeling and it is kind of annoying tbh. Hope it will also pass soon. I am adding my three months + 1-week photos below.
