Regular Member acura.tls.44 Posted October 31, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted October 31, 2023 (edited) Hello Everyone, Finally its all done. just got back not to long ago. Got 4006 Grafts through FUT. Originally was planning to do 5000+ graft but due to poor laxity and slightly weaker donor area, Dr wong was able to extract 4000. Went in for 6:15, Surgery didnt start till around 730Ish. Finished around 3:30pm. Not sure what to expect, like is the frontal and crown dense packed or not. Does it look like the graft are place properly? let me know what you guys think and feel free to ask me any questions. Senior Member BurnieBurns Posted October 31, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted October 31, 2023 Looks like good clean work. I'd imagine he prioritised density in the front where is matters most since you couldn't get over 5k.
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted October 31, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted October 31, 2023 Yes the front and mid scalp have been the focus. This will look great. Now the fun time begins. All the best and I hope your share your updates over your 12 month journey. Regular Member acura.tls.44 Posted October 31, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 31, 2023 Thanks for the feedback, I will definitely update along the way. Does the frontal and midscalp look dense packed. I was told around 2600 grafts were used in the frontal.

Senior Member HairFunk Posted October 31, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted October 31, 2023 Amazing work. I like the fact they took the strip relatively high up in the donor zone meaning you can have a military hair cut no problem!
Regular Member Team Posted November 1, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted November 1, 2023 Hi friend, I'm scheduled for a HT with Dr. Wong in April. No doubt I'll be following your journey and I thank you for sharing. 1 - Did he advise shaving your whole head for surgery? I was surprised when during my in person consultation he said he only needed to shave my receipient area (not that there's much there). 2 - Are you on meds, if so which and when did you start? Best of luck.

I'll be following your journey closely. Please continue taking pictures of your scar. I feel like mine has but I won't know for sure until a few months out.
