Result of 5000 grafts on NW Class 5 – Giga Session – HDC Hair Clinic – Dr Christina

HDC Hair Clinic is about to present a series of Giga session results, starting today.

This is a 31 years old NW Class 5 patient who wanted to cover an area of his baldness so that the result would look natural, have a good density, and not look half finished.

This could only be achieved by taking as many grafts as possible. This 5000 grafts case is presented 8.5 months after surgery, in great detail. With photos before, post op of donor and recipient, as well as the result 8.5 months after surgery. There are also a few videos, but we can’t post them here. Yes, he should come this winter, and will have around 2500 grafts for his crown

The patient started using topical Minoxidil and Finasteride gel supplied by HDC, one month after the surgery.

Hairline 50 grafts per sq cm, behind 40 sq cm, some cases if donor really strong we can do also 50 behind.

If you do a second pass procedure, do these numbers fully add to the preexisting density or how would the math go?

You can do touch up procedures, the math is according to the prerequisites of the patient, it's discussed specifically in consultations.

However,hairline density in video seems meeeh.. Thus propably for the Hairline (50 grafts per sq cm) is not the optimal graft survival.

I also thought that the hairline density immediately post-OP looked significantly better than what ultimately seemed to have grown there. I wonder why that could be, 50 grafts per sq cm is in the lower range.
