Ensure good result in temporal points in Europe

Recommended Posts

Hello! First poster here.

I live in Scandinavia and thinking of a HT. Ive talked to a few here and none really do temporal points (on the sides) as the result is almost never good they told me.

I wonder if anyone can recommend a surgeon inside Europe that has good track record of temporal points and HT overall obviously. I searched on surgeons but didnt see anyone going into temporal points as use cases. And also its better to ask the knowledgeable forum users in here 😃

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! Ive contacted them all except one as they didnt really take any consultation atm.

Any more tips is greatly appreciated. Its pretty pricey but worth it if they can do temporal points well. As it seems many surgeons don't because of it being tricky.
At the very least do a two parter. The hairline I do at home but temporal points can come a year later in another country (as I need to save up money for transplant, flight tickets, hotel etc).
I will look around the forum and see other peoples experience regarding temporal points (think I saw one bad review of Dr Bisanga).

Another quesion:
Ive have  a mature hairline and lost my temporal points. Crown is intact and well. But I have quite a big forehead so it just gives my face a Conehead look (lots of skin/forehead). What do members here think is best to better frame the face and make it look better..temporal points restored or a lowering of the hairline?

thanks 😃

It’s hard to comment without pictures, but both are usually required to compliment perfect facial framing.

For example, if hairline has recessed yet temple points have remained prominent , a simple hairline lowering and straightening should leave a pretty nice result - however this wouldn’t suffice if both hairline and temple points had recessed, only focusing on the hairline would still leave a wider impression of the forehead as the temple to hairline closure angles would remain looking more open.

If you receive any recent examples of temple point restoration from any of the above three doctors, would be great if you could share them on here?

Yes of course. Sorry, new to this.. Posting pictures.

Yes if I get any info I find interesting after consultation I will try to remember to post them here! But shoulnd't they themselves post that here? As I've understood it some surgeons, or rather their clinic, post here.

Im really interested in doing temporal too but seems difficult to get it right. And going abroad in Europe will increase price quite significantly.

Temporal points when done right are a game changer.  If you can find a good surgeon for it, definitely do it!  I went with temporal reconstruction and am VERY glad I did.

As for which Dr. in Europe, no idea who is best for temporal points in EU.

Open question to anyone: I got recommended around 1500-2000(max) grafts for upper hairline. Seems reasonable? Im also interested in going to India or Turkey if the doctor is good enough with hairlines ofc. I previously said Europe but Im thinking to be more flexible for good result.

I saw on your video that you did at Eugenix. Always had a difficult time trusting clinics in India trustworthy.. You did temporal points yes? Mind if I ask what yours cost? And you chose Dr. Sethi because of the points yes? (with 'points' I mean the ones coming from the side of the head as a "triangle" towards your eyes. Not on upper head as some think). Then it is worth mentioning that Eugenix may have put more effort into your case as you did expore for them :P

If you know any outside EU I take recomendations too! Well not US perhaps as the cost will be to great + flight tickets..

Thanks for all the replies! Helping a lot

for temporal points imo best in EU are Couto, de Freitas, Bisanga (in that order)

Freitas and Bisanga temple points are pretty limited.  There's a recent Freitas case posted on here w/ temples done, so, will be interesting to follow.

Couto def has a nice portfolio of temples.

A couple recent cases by Ferriera look nice, check out @Sitries1

I don't really think a top surgeon will be happy to work on just your temporal points if your going to get the hairline done elsewhere.

The top surgeons have waiting lists so they can pick and choose who they want to work on therefore I don't think your proposed plan is achieveable.  Bare in mind, reconstruction of temple points  requires a small amount of grafts therefore even if you are able to get one of them to agree to do them then you would be subject to a minimum spend for a day's worth of surgery.

My advice would be to decide which surgeon is within a budget you can save up enough money to afford, put a deposit down and start saving (your likely to be waiting a year for a top surgeon anyway).

I had mine done with Thiago Bianco in Brazil.  Here's my temporal points and my new hairline now after 1.5 years:

I meant hairline as well as temporal points. The clinic that have too high demand and dont take new clients is Dr Bruno Pinto from clinic O'Porto Clinic.

Seems good in the photo. You're happy? Brazil is pretty far from Europe and a plane ticket can be very expensive on top of the surgery cost. What did you pay?

For anyone interested I talked to a few hair clinics. This is what they told me:
- Clinica O Porto said there is a waiting list just to wait for them to open consultation for new clients.

- Eugenix said it would be somewhere around 3000 grafts in total. Im thinking its a bit high number (they said 1000 grafts more than all the others. Of course this could change while on site and talking design). They talk about the packages and it quickly becomes expensive if you want either Dr Arika Bansal or Dr Pradeep Sethi.

- At the BHR clinic it would be total of ca 2200 grafts and 4€ per graft. Which is very pricey too and not sure I would get Bisanga. I asked and await reply.

So. In order to get the recommended doctors on https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons it quickly gets expensive, naturally.

When it comes to Eugenix they told me the cheaper packages still gives good result just as the expensives ones. But I dont see how the lower ones would be on the same level as the recommended doctors on this site. Anyone have experience of the other packages? BHR and Eugenix both land on around 10k$. Then its flight tickets on top of that.
