Did you endergo multiples days with multiples short sessions of extraction and implanting. Seems your HT is a wonderful success by Mwamba Thanks, Hey man, They extracted and separated the grafts for half a day an the rest of the day was for implantation. We’ve done 3 full days between 8 am and 11 or 12 in the night. Hey Thanks for the feedback,so you had great results even though follicles were out from the body stored in ATP solution for more than 6hours. One other question does the doctor spray ATP solution on the grafts during implantation, did he gave you a solution to spray at home ? Thanks

Thanks It’s not about for how long they keep the follicles out of the scalp, sometimes they have implanted and same time dr Mwamba is extracting another ones. As soon as they get 5-6-700 grafts, they are immediately separated and implemented. Yes, dr. have sprayed saline solution during implantation and gave to me one bottle for home. Don’t know exactly what ATP solution means.

I didn’t posted anymore because since 10-11 months post-op there no differences. Didn’t make yet the second surgery, right now I am planning it with Dr Mwamba Team and will let you know when this will be scheduled.
Regular Member Leos Posted December 3, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 3, 2023 Hi guys, I have finally managed to decide and schedule the second surgery with the one and only Dr Mwamba, this will happen on 4th of April. First I was not decided between Dr Mwamba and HLC because I thought the top crown area is not so important like the frontline, but then I realized that is not worth it to take any risks. Dr Mwamba is the best hair transplant surgeon worldwide to become, in my opinion. He’ll become the new generation, the new era of the hair transplant innovations! See you 💪
Regular Member Leos Posted April 4 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 4 Hi guys, just started today the second surgery and I was a bit disappointed, but that’s my own fault. I stopped using medication since 3 or 4th months after the first surgery and now the crown area got very bald then it was on the beginning of my journey. So here I am today needing 3000-3200 for covering it instead of 2500 grafts initially quoted. My luck is that I still have for about 5000 available on my donor site. We have started today at 11 am and is going well. Hope we can achieve 3000 in the 2 days which I was scheduled.

Regular Member Leos Posted April 7 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 7 2nd day post op - finished with 2740 grafts as dr Mwamba considered enough and he was satisfied for the vertex coverage. He also put very few in the front where some empty spots were found. Donor site looks good, almost healed, shampooing twice daily and using anti inflammatory medication. Finally a bit disappointed for the frontal area which lowered in density after not even 2 years. Hoping for the best to come.

Thanks man. I just stopped using, no reason, no side effects at all. I didn’t know it’s so important to use meds or it’s a must. Regular Member Leos Posted April 22 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 22 14 days post op, all fine, donor completely healed, 2 weeks shampooing twice/day, taking care of not touching the recipient site and now I will get back to normal.
Regular Member Ccd99 Posted April 22 Regular Member Share Posted April 22 (edited) Your donor looks good, has recovered well for 14 days post-op for your 2nd surgery. All the best with your progress! I have heard second transplants sometimes grow in faster, not sure how true it is but hopefully you see results by month 3/4.
