  1. You have an amazing result. What made you stop taking the meds? Side effects?
  2. Amazing. Very happy for you and thanks for sharing. Are you still able to grow a decent looking beard or is it too depleted?
  3. Thanks buddy I had a transplant early March so was just trying to compare crown growth. You mentioned you had 2000 grafts in the front so I’m assuming the rest went in the crown? If you don’t mind sharing do you know the total amount of grafts you had or is that the number you don’t have? Thanks
  4. Amazing results so far. Congrats. How many grafts did you have placed in the crown?
  5. Not sure if you’re still looking but I recently had a transplant with Dr Bonaros in Glasgow on the 1st of March My case was challenging due to a previous strip surgery, awkward hair loss pattern and fine hair. It’s early days as I’m just over the 3 month mark but so far I’m very happy. Growth has started and it seems to be improving on a daily basis If you need any further advice I’d be happy to advise you of my experience
  6. I may have got in just before any price increase. I paid around £2.50 per graft
  7. So far I’m very happy with everything. I got 2019 grafts and my case was challenging. Only 18 days since transplant so way too early for final results but what I’m seeing so far is exactly what I was hoping for. I will be posting a full thread if before, during and after very soon. The Dr was available for me to answer all questions before the transplant by consultation and continued on WhatsApp. The Dr done all the extractions and implanted all himself. The surgical assistant helped with graft separation, counts etc. All done using Choi DHI Implanter pen. The after care so far has been amazing with direct access to the Dr. Compared to others the Dr was not expensive but in fairness Kensington was only going to be £500 more expensive.
  8. I had a consultation with Kensington and Dr Zaman in January. I was very happy with the consultation and they were still in Kensington. I would have went with them but opted for Dr Bonaros in Glasgow as he was closer to me and had a slight preference towards his approach. inhad my procedure on the 1st of March
  9. You know I actually felt that. Maybe there is restricted by regulations on the amount of grafts in 1 procedure Every clinic I consulted with always said max 2,000 grafts for me. I think though for me my donor only allows that but I get the feeling they are bound. I had my 2,000 graft procedure at a UK clinic on 1st March. With my donor situation I felt it was too risky to go to Turkey and have my donor over harvested
  10. Work looks good so far. 6,000 grafts in 1 day is a lot? You must have had multiple people working on your head at the same time. I know you don’t want to mention clinic names but what was the reason you decided against all UK clinics?
  11. I actually had the transplant today, 2 days earlier than expected. Will update when I get the pics and details from the doc. Will start a new thread and link it here
  12. Maybe the person I spoke to was just having a bad day
  13. Yes I know he did work for DHI. Although DHI wasn’t great for me 20 years ago they can produce some decent results. Again it just depends on the doc. I have researched this doc enough to be comfortable and seeing his results first hand. Doc was very realistic and kept my expectations in check which I accept. The rest we will find out after the procedure. Thanks for the advice. Appreciate it
  14. I never turned the Dr down due to the fee. It was for reasons detailed in the previous post I just posted. I agree I have seen some good. Work from Dr Mani
  15. I agree and thanks for the advice. I do not mind paying the consult fee. My issue was not with Dr Mani, it was more with the manner of communication with the surgical assistant. Yes I have now had consults with both surgeons and sales people acting like specialists and the difference is night and day. My procedure is booked for 3rd March and I previously detailed my circumstances with pictures on this post: (Any feedback welcome)
  16. If this was your experience it does not make my experience untrue. They offered me a free online consultation with the surgical assistant. When I asked if I could see the Dr in person I was told it would be £300 for that. I would not mind paying but did not like how they communicated. This was in November before I even knew about this forum.
  17. I only referred to my experience. I was quoted £300 for an in person consult and no option for a virtual consult was given.
  18. Looking really good so far. Your updates are appreciated
  19. Looking forward to the updates. Looking great so far Eugenix is my first choice for next year but the visa issue bothers me as I’ve heard it’s a hard process if parents were originally born in Pakistan which is the case for me. Even though I was born in the UK
  20. Oh wow I didn’t realise it was Eugenix. They are the ones I’m seriously considering for next year but lately I’m seeing a good few bad results, especially from those with poor donor and prior HT’s I had a strip procedure 21 years ago and now going to Eugenix is concerning me. I really hope you get a better outcome over the next few months. Would you mind sharing how much you paid and what package you opted for?
  21. The yield isn’t looking great but you never know it may improve in the coming months. I can’t see it having a drastic improvement though. where did you get your HT from?
  22. That’s perfect. Never thought of that
  23. @ahmed9500 Hi buddy not sure if you seen this question I had for you?
