  1. They originally said they would do it over 2 procedures to protect the donor area, when I suggests that I’ve either got it there or not they admitted that they are bound by the BHARS regulator that they’re Registered with and would have to space the procedure by a minimum of 6 months. 👍
  2. I agree, but for my part price and distance didn’t play a part in making MY decision, Bicer had a year waiting list by which time I’d of talked myself out of it.
  3. Initially I had consultations from Vera , smile, cosmedica, and Hair of Istanbul.
  4. There where a team of 5 technicians with the Doctor dropping by every hour or so, extractions took 3 hours and the implantation stage after lunch was 5 1/2 hours, I was fairly dozy from the sedation so it flew by. As for the UK, someone may correct me if I’m wrong but they are restricted to the amount of grafts they can do in one sitting and offered medication for 6 months between the possible 2 procedures needed , so the cost would have been huge and I felt like they misrepresented the medications as they suggested they promote new hair growth when my research suggested that they help strengthen existing hair. Also I found there where are lot of pressure sales and harassment from UK clinics. cheers 👍
  5. All in inc PRP. £2850 Thanks for the comments .👍
  6. I’d say about half hour until I was happy , as I’d had previous consultations I had an idea where it would end up.
  7. Hi All. I’ve used this forum a lot in the run up to making my decisions regarding my fue procedure in Turkey and feel it’s only right to share my experience if it helps others. im a 48 year old with a fairly standard Norwood 3/4, and have got to that stage in my life where I’m in a good position to deal with it and intended making the right decision which was best for me. I’ve had many consultations both face to face in the UK and online with various clinics in Turkey. I’m not here to criticise specific clinics but quickly decided that I wouldn’t be moving forward with anyone of them from the uk. I focused my attention on about 5 clinics in Turkey most of which I’ve read about here and from other sources but finally decided to go with Elithair in Istanbul . I appreciate that these so called “Hair mills” are not right for everyone but for myself who has a fairly straight forward case with a good donor area I felt confident in my decision . so as previously mentioned this was my experience and I’m not here to promote. The whole experience from first contact all the way through was amazing. I underwent an FUE procedure with 6000 grafts / 2500 multi hair / 2000 double hair / and 1500 single hair ,roughly. Opted for the Deep sleep method which meant I was sedated for 15 minutes during the scalp injections stage and then spent the rest of the procedure watching Tv and playing on my phone. I was accommodated within the actual clinic in a luxury room (with an invaluable raised bed) 5 minutes from all parts of the process. From the moment I stepped outside the airport to its return I never left the place, didn’t have to as there was everything there that I needed including room service from the restaurant downstairs. As for the procedure, I was originally meant to have 3500 grafts following the online consultation with a view of possibly more or less once I’d had a proper more in depth analysis. After a Full health check and hair analysis which took a whole day they offered me a further 2500 grafts for an extra £300, bargain I thought. So I felt confident when I finally got into the chair for the procedure and other than a scratch from the cannula I felt no pain at all ….100% I even stayed an extra night as to get a better return flight time home. It’s been 5 days since and everything seems good, I’ll post some pics up if anyone’s interested . cheers Mark.
