Seabreeze
Hi Boys, Below is my 2nd hair transplant story with Dr Harold Ma (Freia Medical) - In May 2021, i was browsing this website for fellow members hair transplant results and SingaporeHairTransplant post inspired me to go for my 2nd hair transplant. I am a Singaporean and SingaporeHairTransplant posts make me really excited, getting to know there's a renown hair transplant surgeon in Singapore. * I was looking at SingaporeHairTransplant post everyday for 4 months from the day i waited for my HT, the waitlist was long* Due to the covid situation, travelling overseas is not an option, having the hair transplant during this period is useful as most of our time will be working from home. On 20 October 2021 i had my hair transplant (1603 + 2142 = 3745 Grafts) over a period of 2 days:- Day 1 (Front Coverage) Grafts - 1603 Single - 219 Double - 1210 Triple - 102 Dr Harold personally did the extraction and punch, shouting out loud the x grafted extracted. Initially i was counting along with him but eventually i dozed off The staff is exceptionally professional and friendly, always making sure i am feeling comfortable with the position and aircon. They replied whatever question i asked during the procedure Shortly after the extraction lunch was served and i choose chicken rice for the 1st day, after lunch the team continued with the procedure. Dr Harold Ma team is solely dedicated to assisting hair transplant procedures, all of them followed him for many years, some even since day 1. Day 2 (Crown Coverage) Grafts - 2142 Single - 229 Double - 1333 Triple - 83 Beard - 497 Actually the crown hair loss really affected me badly, the hair loss progressed to a state where it's really ugly from the back. During consultation, i told Dr Harold that my focus will be on crown. Dr Harold advised me to add density in the front coverage, as when people talk to us, they will first see our hairline density. I am glad i took his suggestion. I am 5 months down my Hair Transplant procedures and never have such dense hair line in my life, before it really booast my confidence level. Dr Harold carefully planned the number of grafts to be extracted to prevent over harasting and saving for the raining days in future. 497 grafts was extracted from the beard actually i was hoping all to be extracted but Dr Harold explained that the gap between each other will be required, cannot perform all beard extraction in 1 session. Beard was not the 1st choice but due to my limited healthy hair remaining in the donor area, it's the next best choice. I am into my 5th+ month into my hair transplant, thought of sharing my experience with Dr Harold Ma (Freia Medical - Singapore) to inspire fellow guys, just like how SingaporeHairTransplant(member) post showed me light. We only get to LIVE ONCE, live to the fullest with a better appearance - hair transplant really changed my life. How people look at me when i am losing hair verse (balding) when i have a full head of hair it really beyond words can describe. Stay safe everyone, will share my 6 months onward updates soon, the magic should start to appear. The initial ugly duckling period 1 to 3 months was extremely painful but believe there will be rainbow after the rain Ciaos (",) Warmest Regards, SeaBreeze

Regular Member Lightmare Posted March 26, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted March 26, 2022 Really impressive results given the graft count and covered area at this early stage. The best may yet be to come, and it looks like you’ve gotten a big confidence boost from this. How big was your first operation, and was it also done with Dr Ma? Seabreeze
My first Hair Transplant procedure was done 10 years ago in Year 2011 with Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich. It was a 3443 Grafts FUT - Focus only on frontal coverage as i was born with a super high hairline (half of the head) it resolved the receding hairline and gave a better hairline 10 years ago there was only 1 female surgeon who does Hair Transplant in Singapore and during the consultation i wasn't convince she can do the job as she told me what she want me to have rather than what i want to have Hence, i researched and found Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich The first Hair Transplant procedure was as good but it was FUT which i don't have the courage to do FUT again as compared to FUE Edited March 26, 2022 by Seabreeze

Seabreeze
At 6 Month mark the transplanted hair at the crown area still looks a bit fuzzy. Hopefully it will get smooth and less fuzzy in the months to come
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted April 20, 2022 Valued Contributor Share Posted April 20, 2022 I'd give the crown up to 18 months. Excellent results at only six months! Thanks for sharing! 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted April 20, 2022 Valued Contributor Share Posted April 20, 2022 Are you taking finasteride? I only ask as it can help regrow hair in the crown (as well as preserve the native hair that you have). All the best! Senior Member John1991 Posted May 14, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 14, 2022 Particularly good crown growth for this early, no?
Seabreeze
I am not very sure, it is my first crown HT but the frontal growth far exceeded my expectations given only 1603 grafts transplanted at the previous state. 2142 Grafts were transplanted to the crown but maybe it was a huge area of concern to begin with hence the growth isn't the same as the frontal coverage 🤔
Senior Member Z-- Posted May 15, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2022 Damn, this is a really good result so far. Crown is always a bit slower, but I think this will give a fairly full illusion of density, even in the sunlight. Congrats!

What's your take on this, I'm considering doctor path as well.
