Regular Member HairMe Posted February 26, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted February 26, 2022 Wanted to get an idea from the forum of those who've had a HT of how long the numbness in the scalp lasts post-op. Days, Months, etc.?
Senior Member civic Posted February 27, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted February 27, 2022 From what i read, in some cases FUT can have permanant numbness/nerve damage where strip was taken. One of the reasons why i opted against it, even with NW6. With FUE few months numbness should resolve.

Senior Member MazAB Posted February 27, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted February 27, 2022 Although it has subsided quite a bit, I'm close to month 6 of my HT and still feel numbness.

Senior Member hybonix Posted February 28, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted February 28, 2022 (edited) I still have some slight numbness in my recipient zone to this day and it's been 1 year and 4 months. It's not too bad, but it's there. This can last all your life from my understanding. I had an FUE procedure done.
