  1. Any recommended hair dye brands that use natural ingredients? TIA
  2. Any thoughts on how long to wait post HT to use hair fibers? Can they potentially block follicles which may impede regrowth in the implanted area?
  3. What's the recommended wait time to dye your hair post HT? Is it safe on the implanted area? Does it impede regrowth? Which hair dyes are safe/recommended? (ie. brands, ammonia free, natural ingredients, etc.) The answers to these questions are all over the map so trying to get consensus on this topic.
  4. How long would you suggest to wait before using hair clippers on the recipient area?
  5. How long would you suggest to wait before using hair clippers on the recipient area?
  6. A quick post-op question for those who've had their HTs. When is it safe to use hair clippers to buzz/trim the donor area? Most doctors say to refrain from using hair clippers on the recipient area for several months to even a year (cutting with scissors is ok), but what's the consensus on hair clippers the donor area?
  7. Dr. Gur & Turan are both great options if you're looking into HT options in Turkey. They're experienced, take on one patient per day and do the main parts of the surgery themselves.
  8. From your current list, Dr. Bicer only and she's booking well into December, maybe further. Outside of her, Dr. Gur or Dr. Turan are high-quality surgeons that take on one patient per day and do the main parts of the surgery ie. incisions harvesting the recipient area (the techs remove them once ready) and making incisions for the donor area. To avoid overharvesting of the donor area, aim for doctors who'll do max 3000-3500 grafts per session. Good luck.
  9. A NW 6 patient would likely require roughly 6000 grafts to get coverage of the hairline & crown. It wouldn't necessarily be dense coverage but it would cover the bald areas pretty much, giving the illusion of a full head of hair.
  10. Check this out: https://www.turkishairlines.com/en-tr/announcements/coronavirus-outbreak/travel-restrictions/
  11. Doctors advise to avoid hair color and hair fibers in the implanted area for at least 4 months for optimal results, but if you must use hair fibers maybe go with something that matches the sides and donor area -- looks like medium to dark brown.
  12. Dr. Turan would be the wiser, more conservative choice. You don't want to over harvest your donor area.
  13. This is the complex Dr. Gur's HT clinic is in (not FUECapilar): https://goo.gl/maps/GBQo9aTb1FHBwS2dA The hotels offered are: Tryp by Wyndham: https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/tryp/istanbul-turkey/tryp-istanbul-atasehir/overview 161 or 81 Cityloft Hotels: https://www.cityloft.com.tr/en/long-period-booking/161-hotels-houses or https://www.cityloft.com.tr/en/hotels/81-hotels They do need to step up their online presence.
  14. They clearly ripped you off, sorry to say. First step, consult with a local reputable lawyer to look into all the documents you signed and see if there's any recourse. A refund is the least they can offer you at this point. Step 2, do your due diligence for your next procedure. Good luck!
  15. For other high-quality Turkey options with experienced doctors that take on 1 patient a day and do a large chunk of the surgery, try reaching out to Dr. Gur or Dr. Turan and see what they say.
  16. Did Dr. Erdogan do your first procedure or was it done by someone else in his clinic?
  17. Wanted to get an idea from the forum of those who've had a HT of how long the numbness in the scalp lasts post-op. Days, Months, etc.?
  18. That's correct. Dr. Gur has his own established private hair transplant clinic and also receives referrals from FUECapilar for clients looking for his expertise with FUE procedures.
  19. @GrahamDavid Very impressive results! Congrats! Who was your surgeon, Dr. Turan or Dr. Gur?
  20. From what I've gathered, Dr. Gur is affiliated with FUECapilar and that they send him referral clients looking specifically for expertise in FUE procedures (Dr. Turan is a DHI expert) but all the work is done at Dr. Gur's own private clinic with his own staff.
  21. Has Dr. Bicer given you an estimate of grafts needed for the second session? How does the donor area look post-op?
  22. Definitely Dr. Gur between the two choices. Strongly recommend to go with Dr. Gur doing the bulk of the surgery (extraction and incisions -- techs do the implantation). Dr. Gur's results are really good and natural, he takes on 1 patient per day and his graft estimates tend to be more conservative which is ideal to avoid any chance of over harvesting. Anyone quoting you 4000+ grafts in one session is not looking out for your long-term goals here. You're better off going with 2 sessions spaced out for recovery to achieve the full (or near full) coverage you're aiming for.
