Final update 15 months later… Couldn't be happier. Donor area is still thick. Hairline could be denser but that would require a second transplant as this is an amazing result for my first one. The relief of not always working about my hairline is such a new feeling. I was just swimming and to just push my hair straight back knowing it looks good and not have to comb it over and always be worrying. Here are some pictures, it’s been over a month since a haircut. Pictures are taken is very bright light from above my head.

Travel went smooth. Long flight with layovers in Chicago and Germany. Yes I arrived, was picked up and brought to the hotel, which was excellent. Day 2 was surgery, day 3 check up and wash. Day 4 I flew out. Here’s a quick update picture after a haircut yesterday.

Agreed. I was just in finasteride and minoxidil before and after.

6 months, hoping density will continue to improve but I’m happy so far. Hair is a little curlier I’m the front now.

I'm not sure on the exact differences on technique. I chose Gur due to the fact that i think his hair lines look more natural. Not the typical "turkish - perfectly straight across the top" hair line. DHI, FUE they are pretty much the same.

Just shy of the 4 month mark. Density is increasing and hoping to see more over the next few months. So far I’m very pleased with the fast progress.

Quick 4 month update after a buzz cut. Starting to fill out. The last month has been great. Very please so far.

Here’s is what I looked like pre HT

So it’ll be exactly two months since the procedure tomorrow. Not a whole lot going on. Seeing new sprouts every couple days or so. Lots of ingrown hairs which I take as a good sign. Just playing the waiting game. Thinking about trimming up my hair so I’ll post some pictures of the donor area once I do that. Recipient area is still numb.

Things are progressing well at almost 6 weeks. Just a few pimples in the donor and recipient area. Just a waiting game now but looks like they are starting in.
