Hey Guys,

I am flying to Istanbul in April and I have finally narrowed it down to the 2 clinic options for HT that is with Fuecapilar or Dr. Yaman. I am a Norwood VI

These are the options with pricing:

FUECAPILAR (FUE method) - Frontal and Top

3500 grafts: Euro 4400  - Incision, extraction done by Dr. Gur

3500 grafts:: Euro 2600 - Incision only done by Dr. Gur

Dr. Resul Yaman (DHI method)- Frontal, Top and Crown

4000-4500 grafts: Euro 3100 - Incision only done by Dr. Yaman.

I would appreciate if you guys can give me some advice on which route to take.

I have seen some good work from both of these doctors, though, I don't think choosing a doctor based on cost is ever a good decision. My advise is save up, research slowly and choose the doctor based on the results, if that happens to be one of these two the cost savings will be a bonus.

Definitely Dr. Gur between the two choices.  Strongly recommend to go with Dr. Gur doing the bulk of the surgery (extraction and incisions -- techs do the implantation).  Dr. Gur's results are really good and natural, he takes on 1 patient per day and his graft estimates tend to be more conservative which is ideal to avoid any chance of over harvesting.

Anyone quoting you 4000+ grafts in one session is not looking out for your long-term goals here.  You're better off going with 2 sessions spaced out for recovery to achieve the full (or near full) coverage you're aiming for.

I have a bias towards the doctor doing the extractions and incisions. The very top clinics have excellent techs, but at this level I would lean towards Gur doing the whole procedure.
