Regular Member Baldingat22 Posted January 18, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted January 18, 2022 What are everyone’s thoughts on it? I have a doctor that think oral minox/dut would be a good combo. Anyone try it? Does it cause growth of hair on face or dryness/acne/skin problems? Any noticeable health issues especially regarding hormones? Regular Member andrewfaliro Posted January 18, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted January 18, 2022 I'm curious about some people reporting premature signs of facial/skin aging. Has anyone experienced this?

I assumed you could take it to see regrowth and then just focus on fin after 1-2 years maybe?

Senior Member Mike10 Posted January 18, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted January 18, 2022 It is medication for heart. Personally I would not take it. probably more effective than the topical version though but will it last longer than the topical who tends to fade after a few years, not sure
Dr. Glenn Charles
There is no long term data regarding oral Minoxidil and prevention of hair loss or hair growth. Definitely could have more systemic side effects. So absolutely get ok from your doctor before taking medication. 1 Dr. Glenn Charles is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians

Thank you is it also similar to minox where it’s effects are only as long as you take it? The doctor I spoke to said tried it 1 year see regrowth and then just do fin and keep it
